BEEEP
"ughh.."
BEEP
I sigh.
BEEEE—
I slam my hand down on the alarm. "Fuckin' prime man..." I mumble. I get up from my bed slowly, grabbing my phone to check my notifications.
"HOLY SHIT."
It's 7:32. I'm late.
I stumbled around the room quickly getting ready. I grab my bag and run out my door down the street. I curse under my breath while panting. I reach the cafe and slam the door open.
"Your late Tommy."
Oh hey. I never introduced myself. Hi. I'm Tommy. Tommy K Innit. And I have a actual normal life. No this isn't those types of stories. This is literally my life. Boring ol' Tom.
"Tommy? Dude look at me."
I flinch. Oh yeah. I have a job.
"Sorry Tubs." I sigh. I walk over to the counter and grab my poorly decorated apron. "Sooo. Your late again. Man, you really need to get up on time. Your hair is a wreak." Toby says. He's been my best friend since middle school. "Oh buzz off mate." I playfully push him away. "Owewwwww, Will!!! Tom is bullying meeeee." He jokes. "You two get back to work." Wilbur yells. Wilbur, ah yes. Big man Wilbur. He's a couple years older than me and Toby, he's our boss to lay it lightly. Basically the reason why I'm not fired yet. Toby ruffles my hair, "Ughhh bro." I swat his hand away. He laughs and goes into the back.
ding!
I walk over to the cash register.
"Hello welcome to Soots Coffee n' Tea. What would you like this morning?" I say. I look up at the person. He looked. Odd. He had a mask and glasses on, along with a hoodie.
"Uh.. just a latte...please." He mumbled out.
"Size?" I ask.
"Oh, uh. Medium." He says.
"Alright is that it?" I question. He nods.
"Total is 3.45, cash or credit?"
He fumbles out his wallet. "Cash." He says. He hands over a 5. "Keep the change." He mumbles again. I nod.
"Wait. Name for the order?" I ask.
He stares at me for moment. "It's Ranboo."
'tf kinda name is Ranboo???' I thought.
I write it on the cup and he walks over to a table, pulling out a laptop. "Oh, someone is here?" Toby asks. "Yeah. Just wants a latte." I said. Toby grabs the cup. "...ran..boo? That's his name?" He fumbles, and then looks at the man. "Yup. That's what he said," I snickered. Toby shoves me lightly, "Oops. Sorry man, I needed to make the latte," He giggles. I dramatically gasp and laugh while walking back to the register. More and more customers walk in and leave while the hours past by.

"Ugh I'm tired.." I complain. "Come on, it's only 3." Toby says. I look around the cafe, that Ranboo guy is still here. "Dude that kid has been here since like 8. Should we check on him?" Toby asked. I nod and leave the counter.
I walk up to "Ranboo."
"Hey man, you alright? You've been here for like, 8 hours-"
He stands up.
"Oh you don't have to go-"
He grabs his stuff and walks out.
"Oooookay then."
I walk over to Toby again. "What was that??" Toby says. "I don't know.. he just. Got up and left." I say, scratching the back of my head. "I'm sure it was nothing." Toby reassured. "Yeah. Probably nothing.." I mumble.
