Tender Storm

Prologue

"Hello? Can you hear me?

"I think he's passed out"

"He's lost a lot of blood...hope we reach on time and be able to save him"

"Can you hear me mister?"

"Okay...you have to stop doing that.. he's unconscious".

"Can't you see him moving his hands? He can hear us".

"I'm not sure...will he live?"

"Of course he will...look at him..he's too young to die".

"According to you, younger people don't die?"

"It's not the age...it's the ability to fight back".

"You're full of crap".

"Try waking him...at least till we reach the hospital. I don't want blood on my hands".

"You already have it on your shirt".

"Shit! That's a figure of speech".

"Okay...grammar police".

He could hear the flippant of their conversation and wanted to laugh.. but he couldn't. At least not physically.

He was injured, and badly. He could feel his body giving away. Were the two dimwits right? Would he live?

He could smell blood on his face, and almost everywhere. He remembered the time he was pushed inside a car by two people, probably teenagers.

He couldn't speak even though he wanted to..he wanted to cry. Maybe this accident was a curse. Her curse.

He thought of her, his beautiful Sakshi . A tear escaped his eyes.

"Oh my God! He's crying!"

"Good...make him cry..."

"Have you lost it?"

"What? At least he'll be alive till we reach the hospital".

"Oh God! I think I'm going to puke... I can't take the sight of blood".

"Then close your bloody eyes!"

There was silence and he was grateful as the car picked up speed and raced ahead. He tried to open his eyes but he could feel his eyes give away.

Sakshi! I'm sorry, his heart cried for the millionth time. Nothing he ever did could make up for what had happened to her. His heart bled for forgiveness...and redemption. Maybe this was for the best....this way, he would leave this world without having to face her...

The last thing he remembered before losing his consciousness was her bewitching smile.

And then everything became blank once again...
