Moving

Today is the day. We're moving from our beautiful Greece, to Texas. Only because my father got a new job. And it's a shitty job, so it was definitely not worth leaving my friends behind. My grandma lives here in Texas though, but the rest of my family is still in Greece. I miss them, and even though i'll FaceTime my cousins every night, it's not the same. My mom is mad at my father but my brothers wanted to go, otherwise, my sister, my mom & me, we didn't want to go. My eldest brother, Mateo, was not sure, but dad promised him an amazing job earning a lot of money. He just turned 24 and still hasn't gotten a job so he didn't have much of a choice. My other brothers, Dylan, who was 21, Roman, age 17, and Lio, the youngest, 13, were all very excited.
Miranda, my sister of age 19, was fine with it. Until she realized that she doesn't speak English and had to leave her girlfriend behind. Mom was worried about Miranda because apparently not everyone supports gay people. I turned 16 a month ago, I was not able to do fun stuff since my parents were busy with moving us to Texas. We went on vacations in Texas to see my grandmother, but I could never imagine myself living there. My mom didn't say a word to my dad on the plane. I bet he felt sorry, but also didn't. I didn't really care, cause all I could think about was my horse, Amanda, who was still in Greece. I hope there are some decent maneges in Texas. And that they take good care of the horses. My dad promised Lio a dog, a cat, and maybe even goats if we moved, even though, our whole family knows we will not be able too. We're gonna rent a loft. A big one, but, there is no garden, so maybe, a cat was all we could get, since Roman already had snakes. We used to have a family dog, but my mom promised to never own a dog after Millie, because her loss was too big of a pain. She was my mom's bestfriend. We still miss her. Enough, i took my pillow and a blanket, and tried to sleep a bit, it's a long flight.
