I cant stress with this enough what the actual fuck and why do people still think that he flopped. He's a midfielder not a striker ffs, ofc he wont score goals and provide majority of assists because of the Klopps way. Midfielders are more defensive in his formation, and fullbacks provide assists and wingers or strikers shoot. Ofc sometimes matip goes forward but midfielders generally dont go forward and shoot/assist to the front for him. Yall are fucking dumb.
Plus 2 goals and like 4 assists in the PREM. not the carbao cup, FA cup, community shield, UEFA cups, no! the premier league, the best out of all of them is not even bad! Its like 49 appearances and with Klopp he aint gonna play like they do there in Bayer Munich. Its a different team, different coach, which means hes gonna fill different tasks. Klopp picked him for a reason. He is a good player and always has been so just stfu.
