The Romance Behind The Curtain

Act I Scene I

Me and Logan have been best friend since 5th grade. We have always been by each other's side though everything. Logan has been with me though the really hard times. He didn't care about the fact that I was bisexual. It was half way though senior year and me and him have tried out for the spring musical. The spring musical this year was a musical called "Hairspray". Me and Logan both tried out for the role of Link Larkin, the main male in the show.
"Man, I hope I get a part in the show" Logan said to me after the auditions.
"Don't worry man mrs.chase alway give everyone who auditions a part" I said
Me and him walked to are cars and drove off.

The next morning the cast sheet were up everyone raced up to the sheet. Me and Logan said back until everyone else left. When I walk up I said the sheet.
"Jordan Christina as Tracy Turnblad"
"Logan Scott as Link Larkin"
"Jessie Thompson as MayBelle"
"Nick Nichols as Edna Turnblad
"Chris Andrews as Seaweed"
"Victoria Michele as Amber Von Tussle
"Emily Smith as Mrs.Von Tussle"
"Danny Austins as Corny Collins"
"Dancers- Drake Russell,Mike Powell,Destiny Love, Andrew Harris,
Mariah Taylor, Xander Harris, Kristen Lewis, Alyssa Hill and Brittany Duncan
First Read Though Friday Night
6:00PM."
"Wow Logan, you got Link" I said happy for him
"Really?" He said
"Yea I says right here, Logan Scott as Link Larkin" I said.
"What are you playing?" Logan said
"Ummmmm I'm a dancer on the corny Collins show" I said
So when I'll be dancing for most of the show.

At the first read though I realized that Logan has to kiss to different girls in the play. He has to kiss Jordan at the very end end of the play and Victoria several different in the play. At the first rehearsal (that I had to got to anyway) we learned the small dances for the corny Collins show. Logan was there too. He had to sing "It Takes Two". I've never heard him sing before. His voice was beautiful. He also looked really good he was wearing a pair of jeans and a white American Eagle t-shirt and a Red beanie. After we danced and Logan sung like 4 times we got a break. Me and Logan sat down in the back of the auditorium.
How did I do? Did I do good? He asked me
"Yes Oh my God, you were so good" I said
"Thanks"he said
He gave me a big hug. I smelled his cologne in his shirt. I think I like this kid. But he's been my friend for years. I'm not going to let my feelings get in the way of our friend ship I just have to keep my mouth shut.
