The hours passed and the new day arrived beyond Ubbinfalls, Keon and Frost fang had awoken from their eight-hour slumber and went to check on Tatoul and Azzie who were both at the dining table having breakfast and were a little surprised to find him and Frost fang up this early and asks the two about Katie's condition, but none of them seem to know what's happening with Katie before Azzie goes upstairs to check on her, but only to find her still asleep she believes but asks her to come down for breakfast. Katie heard her mother's voice and groggily tries getting up out of her bed as it was dark in her room before she stretches both of her arms, her sleepwear ripped after stretching her arms and was shocked to hear this and took a look at herself seeing her arms and fingers looking swollen and fleshy. Katie tries getting off of her bed again but realizes her belly was fleshy and bulky as she rocks back and forth to get herself off her bed and finally manages it and got herself on her feet and went to the restroom that was next to her bedroom and got the lights on to look herself in the mirror.
Katie: *Screams*
Tatoul, Azzie, Keon, and Frost fang heard Katie's scream and they wondered what was going on with her so Azzie rushes back upstairs to check on her but only to find her bed empty and the lights on in the restroom door where the light is shown at the very bottom of the door as it was locked and Azzie was getting concerned for her daughter and asks what's wrong.
Azzie: Dear, what's going on?
Katie: *Shudders* I don't want to mention it, I look hideous! I look like my uncle!
Azzie: Katie, you do not look anything like your uncle just calm down and tell me what's going on.
Katie: *In despair* I don't know what's in the drink Keon gave me I drank that one time during our trip to the national park when he crafted smoothies at the recreation center!
Keon: *Runs upstairs to find Azzie giving him a stern expression* Wait a minute, she doesn't mean the protein shake smoothie I made?
Tatoul: *To Keon* Son, what do you have to say for yourself?
Keon: *Bewildered* I remember seeing my gym teacher and her assistant drinking the weight loss shake and the protein shake and they have been getting bellyaches and for some reason, my gym teacher Mrs. Aura was losing weight fast and her assistant gaining weight fast and- *Realizes his mistake* Uh, oh.
Azzie: *Knocks on door* Katie, just please open the door!
Katie: *Inaudible* It is open.
Azzie, opens the door to find Katie on her knees covering her face like she looks like she is crying, but she wasn't, but broken in despair and she became obese one day after taking Keon's protein shake smoothie from the recreation center and it totally shocks Azzie and was so lost how she gain this much weight in one day. Keon, Frost fang, and Tatoul were all shocked to see Katie in this shape Katie got up and her head was down and comes right up to Keon and give him a sharp slap in the face accusing and blaming him for making her fat and wanting her uncle to throw him out of their house at once and never wanted to see him again and Azzie and Tatoul felt hurt because this was the greatest moment for their family member to find a new friend and they have no choice, but help Keon up and escort him out of the house and Azzie stayed with Katie and Tatoul was the only individual to escort Keon and Frost fang out of the house and wanted him to meet him in town later for some explanation about the beverages and shuts the door.
Keon felt deeply hurt for what he did to his new friend, but now it seems he believes he blew it and smashed the relationship into bits and Frost fang can see ice building up around him like he was getting stressed and he comforts him as much as possible till he calms down and took out his Neoravap to get them back home. After reaching home he finds the house empty, but instead, he goes to the elemental monster park to get some distraction to find Professor Algoma who was checking on his elemental monsters at the first zone from the entrance asking Keon if he had any chances of catching new elemental monsters today, but he didn't say anything and silently walks off to an isolated area in the park. Keon and Frost fang relaxes in the forest zone where there aren't that many elemental monsters and none of them bothered to check what was wrong with their master, but Keon was so lost why something like this would happen to several people he loved and the one he made friends with that got broken into pieces?
