Disclaimer: Let's get this straight, to those of you who think that the name of this chapter is real. You are mistaken. As you might have noticed, the chapters of this book are named after the actual episodes from Attack on Titan. Since this is book is from the perspective of my character Aria Scarlet, and episode six of Attack on Titan followed Misaka, I had to improvise and make it my own. Please take this note into consideration and enjoy chapter 6.

I always knew there was some kind of reason people were treated in such an animalistic kind of way and now, I know for sure. Titans. No one knows why they're here or how they got here. All we know is that were supposed to run away from them. Most people are just sick of them and want to fight back and take back what was once ours. But at critical times, it's only a dream. The thought of being chased around by something that only wants to eat you is just spine tingling.

You hold your breath wanting to be saved but it never comes and you feel alone. But at times it feels like you've found your savior but then they end up pushing you back in. That's how much it hurts knowing that you may never get to see what's out there and end up dying....alone.

That's why I have friends but my family's dead. Never to be seen again. All because of them, the man-eating bastards called titans. They have a one track mind and what happens next once they've run out food? Do they just end up eating each other? They're disgusting. I'm getting sick to my stomach just thinking about it. How did it ever come to this? How did it ever come to having to constantly have to look over your shoulder to make sure that you're safe?

But it might never come to that. It'll possibly never come to the time people don't have to die left and right.

But I can't just stand there and watch someone I care about die. It would put too much guilt on me.

I remember how I felt that day. The day I saw them and secretly decided that I wanted to be one of them. And wear that emblem, The Wings of Freedom. If I had told my parents, they would've freaked and told me to change my mind.

But I wanted to become a scout to protect. To protect my parents and my friends. I wanted to protect everyone even if I died trying.

I sat at the steps basking in the evening sun. I sighed heavily and heard my father's steps coming closer to me. I jumped up from my spot and ran to him with open arms.

"Daddy! You're back!" I cried happily.

"Yes, Aria. Daddy's home. Don't you worry." He laughed. I laughed with him.

"Why can't I come to work with you, Daddy?" I asked.

"If I did, you'd get hurt. And I don't want you to get hurt."

"But I'll be super careful, I promise!"

"Now Aria. You can't come with me. But you can play with his son."

"But I don't wanna play with any icky boy." I whined.

"Don't worry. He's not icky."

"You promise?"

"Promise." He laughed.

"He better not be."

I remember the next day he took to the place he went everyday. He knocked on the door and woman about his age opened the door.

"Oh, Satoshi. You're here." She looked down at me. "And who might this be?"

"Hi! I'm Aria Scarlet."

"Well, hi. Aren't you just adorable?" A genuine smile came onto her tired face.

"You don't mind if I leave her up here while I go downstairs do you?" My father whispered to her.

"No not at all."

"Great thanks." My father looked down at me. "Now you be a good girl, Aria."

"Yeah, Daddy!" I said. He smiled at me before walking to basement door. I walked inside and sat down in a chair silently.

Sitting across from me was boy my age but taller than me.

"Hi. My name is Aria Scarlet."

"I'm Eren. That's Mikasa."

I had no idea what to say, especially since I didn't know anything about them. An awkward silence grew between all of us.

"Hey, why don't you all go play outside?" Eren's mom asked.

"Kay!" Eren jumped out of his seat and ran out the door.

"Spunky little one isn't he? Be sure to keep an eye on him for me, okay?"

"Yeah, okay." Mikasa said, gravely.

I got out my seat and went out the door. I found Eren sitting on the steps by the stream with another kid I was unfamiliar with.

"Hi, who are you?" I asked.

The blonde haired by looked up at me and smiled, "oh me? I'm Armin Arlet."

"Aria Scarlet." I smiled back. I sat on one of the steps and crossed my legs. "What are you doing?"

Armin was looking through a book that looked pretty old. "It's just an old journal that my parents had. Its supposed to be about life on the outside."

"But isn't all that stuff illegal?" I asked.

"Yeah, isn't it amazing?"

"Yeah, I guess. It would be even more amazing to see first-hand."

"But we can't cause of what lies on the other side of these walls." Eren said.

"True." I agreed.

I remember that day so clearly. I don't know why. It was that day that I had made three friends that would change my life forever. I couldn't ask for anyone better.

We sat on the steps talking endlessly about what life on the outside world would be like. Although, Mikasa only talked occasionally. We even made a promise that we'd go out and see it one day.

And here I am, a titan shifter. A titan going against it's own kind. It's a funny thing when you think about it. People risked their lives for others and sometimes some of them don't even care. It makes me sick.

I don't know what's happening. All I know is that, I'm losing control and everything is going dark. I'm scared.
