"What the hell? I thought you were dead." I exclaimed
"Was there a funeral though? It wasn't." He said back
"Why'd you fake your death though? Why am I here Drew?" I questioned
"I'll answer those questions as soon as everyone gets here my baby" he said as he touched my chin
"The others? What the hell do you mean the others? What's that suppose to mean?" I asked him
"Hold on baby girl, I need to take this" he said as he phone started to ring
"Yeah bring them in" he said to whoever he was in the phone with
"Bring who in? Who was that?" I questioned
"You gotta lot questions but that's okay. I'll have answers once everyone gets here like I said" he responded
I just rolled my eyes because I was getting tired of waiting.
A few minutes later, I heard the door open and I saw a man bringing in Deauni. Her clothes were stained with blood and she was crying out in pain.
"Please just let me go. I haven't done anything please" she whined
"Sit her right next to Nani" Drew ordered
She had a blindfold around her eyes so that's how I recognized her.
When he removed the blindfold she was just as shocked.
"What the hell? Is this hell? Why am I here?" She questioned
"He won't tell me" I answered
"Jalen? Why? What is going on? I'm a mom you know? My kids need me" she said
"SHUT UP!" Drew yelled
We both jumped from the tone of his voice.
"What's going on?" Deauni mouthed to me
I just shrugged my shoulders because this was all confusing. Deauni knew the man who brought her here and Drew was alive. Everything was happening to fast.
"WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY?!" Drew yelled out
"Boss I don't know" replied the dude who brought Deauni in
"Boss, they just texted me. They all on the way" Tre said as he walked in
"Tre? What is this?" I asked out of shock
"I told you, you'll know when everyone gets here! DUCT TAPE HER MOUTH!" Yelled out
"No no no please don't I'm sorry" I cried out
"Do it! I don't have time for this shit" Drew said
Tre tapped my mouth shut and we just waited to see what was going to happen next.
An hour or so rolled by and the door opened again.
"Blindfold them" Drew told Tre and Jalen
"No please don't, please!!" Deauni cried out
"Shut up!" Jalen barked
Her tears just poured down her cheeks.
Once they blindfolded us, I heard footsteps of multiple people.
"Bring them to the table" Drew ordered
Somebody lifted my chair and I guess they brought me to the table Drew mentioned.
"Take them off" Drew said
When my blindfold and tape came off , I was shocked at who I saw at the table.
"Okay we're going to play a little game" Drew stated
"I thought you was dead" Kj said
" SHUT UP! MATTER FACT DUCT TAPE EVERYBODY MOUTH" Drew yelled out
Everybody's mouth got duct taped and now we were forced to shut up and listen.
"That's better now let's discuss the rules of the game. This gun is loaded okay? Now the rules are simple. You tell the truth or you die. Everybody at this table is familiar with my workers. So if you decide to lie the truth will be exposed anyway and you die. It's a lose lose situation. Don't worry folks, everybody will get a free turn to speak they peace. You know what? I'll start now. Deauni...how about you go first. You seem like you itching to say something" Drew said
"What the hell is this Drew? Why am I here? I just had a abortion and my kids need me. I don't need to be here right now" Deauni said as soon as the tape got removed from her mouth
Kj and Dc looked at her funny because they had no clue what she was talking about. I think we were all a bit confused. So everybody looked at her with their eyebrow raised because what abortion? That explained the blood I was assuming.
