Today was going slow, the day was dragging by with dread of tommorrow. For all students, including Madison who was just another face in the crowd, but she was invisable. She knew a few people, they called themselves her friends. It was just Brenda and Tyler, brenda so far was always there for her. Brenda was a 15 year old girl and in the same grade as madison and Tyler. Tyler was also 15, but he was a boy. Tyler was extreamly attractive, with his ice blue eyes, and short, curly blonde hair. Madison was in love with him. But, he didnt feel as strongly for her, as she felt for him. So he ignored her frequently. Even though they had a few classes together. This day, is the turning point in Madison's life. It is growing closer to the end of the school year, the weather grows warm and green. Little bursts of color and warmth slowly spring up at random.
On this fine morning madison went to school, just like she did every monday. And just like everyday, she was ignored. People walked into her, shoved her, and pretended she didnt exist. It was normal for her though, she knew nothing better. During her 2nd hour class, the teacher told everyone that they were going to learn a dance. Madison was so excited! She loved music, singing, and dancing more then anything! But she knew she would probably dance alone. Everyone was sent to the auditorium, where the teacher soon explained and taught the class about the dance. Madison was paired with Brandon. But Brandon was stuborn in his ways, he traded partners with brady. So madison was paired with conner. And the dance required group participation. This was the first time in years that she got to do a group project without getting ignored. She then danced with every boy in the room. She was happier then she had been in years! And she was so excited to tell both her friends about the best day of her life! After her lunch hour, she rushed to find her friends. She came across Tyler first. She excitedly runs to tell her best friend the good news. "Tyler! Guess what!, i just had the best day of my li-" he cut her off "I dont care!" He then glared at her and walked the other way. She stopped, shocked. He was her friend right? Didnt he want to hear about the best day of her life? Or was she so unimportant to him that her feelings didnt matter? Was she so hated by this world that she was forgotten? She felt the tears welling in her eyes. She turned and ran. She was sick if the way people treated her. She went into the locker room to change for gym, she was soon fixing her face. She tried to talk to brenda, but Brenda ignored her completly. After an assigned 6 minute jog, they were sent outside. It was really hot out. She was going around, looking for someone to talk to. But she was ignored. She then left the group and went to be alone. Nobody saw her go, or even cared. She went to a really warm part of the field, covered in tar. It was burning hot from the sun. She then laid down. Tears streaming down her face now. Their was a metal air vent near by where she laid. She crawled nearer to it... after the class hour Tyler began to regret his harsh words, he really loved madison, he was just to afraid to tell her so. He looked for her everywhere after class but he couldnt find her anywhere. He told the gym teacher about her absense. The teacher went to find little madison. When class had ended, but the teacher still had not returned, Tyler left, he had another class to deal with. But that didnt keep away the guilt. The last thing he had told her was haunting him. He began to feel sick, but that feeling went away with the end of the day. Tuesday came and left with no sign of madison. Tyler and brenda didnt think twice about her absense. However, after the thursday came still with no sign of madison, they began to worry about their friend. Tyler asked everyone he saw, if they had seen her. Almost no one knew who madison was. Tyler was very concerned for madison, so he called her father. "Hi dave, this is tyler. Madisons friend. I was wondering if i could talk to madison for a moment?" "Im so sorry, didnt you hear?" "Hear what? Whats wrong? Is she ok?" He sighed and hesitated before speaking. "Madison is dead." "What!? What happened?" I could tell he was very upset. And his voice cracked when he spoke again "she died on Wednesday. She spent 2 days in the hospital, the doctors dont know what happened to her. They found her unconsious by the air vents on the track field. They took her to the hospital from their, and she fell into a coma until thursday, she woke up. And said her last words." Tyler was shocked. "What was her last words?" He asked. "'I love him more then the earth needs the sun, i love him beyond the distance the stars stretch across the sky, i love him more than a new mother loves her child, and i will love him beyond this life, i will love him from beyond. I will send him stars as tokens to remember by, i will give him the world. All i ask is that he not ignore me. I want to be in the vast comfort of his arms, held there with the grip of steal to hold me steady..."' tyler felt his heart melting. "Who was she speaking of?" Her father replied instantly. "A man she spoke very highly of, she always gave him more credit then he deserved." Tyler was getting impatiant "who? Did she give a name?" her father replied with a hate in his voice "You, she loved you. And you let it slide by." Tyler was shocked. And madison was gone.
