Maya had woken up while she stretched her body and exhaled. Her whole life had definitely changed and she could barely believe how it had changed. She was finally doing what she wanted to all those years. She's going after what her heart wanted. Maya quickly got dressed and threw her things in a suitcase while she looked at the pictures around her. She was indeed surrounded with people who she knew cared so deeply that if they cared more, they would burst.
"Hey, guys," Maya said as she went in front and saw how Lucas and Farkle were talking while Riley poured her a cup of coffee.
"Morning, did the bed sleep okay?" Lucas asked as Maya nodded.
"Coffee. Where are you going?" Riley asked as Maya looked at her friends.
The original plan was that Maya, Riley, Farkle and Lucas would move in together in an apartment that Cory Matthews had organized for the four friends, but he also knew that Maya had a lot of plans of her own. Some which they weren't even sure of.
"Charleston. I need to see my father. My mother can pretend that he doesn't play any role in her life, but he does in mine. But I'm going to travel first. Princeton, Delaware, Washington, Richmond, Covington, Atlanta, Nashville, Rocky Mount, Wilmington, Charlotte and finally Charleston. Afterwards I'm heading to Savannah and then... Then I'll figure it out," Maya said.
"Are you going to visit Uncle Josh in Virginia?" Riley asked as Maya had nodded.
"Is why Covington is on my list. Not because The Vampire Diaries was shot there," Maya said as Riley smiled.
"Send regards and drive safe," Farkle said.
"I will," Maya said.
