The Boar and the Rabbit

Floor 5

(Hello guys just a quick bit of information like in most of my fanfics I will mostly be in the 3rd person POV unless I clearly state that it's not 3rd person POV.)

Bell POV

Currently you could see a young white haired ruby red eyed adventurer running through the fifth floor of the dungeon fairly injured , however something was wrong the wounds on his body looked like they had been made by a lot of brute force that no monster at these levels could have possibly caused he looked very terrified and now you could see why apparently a minotuar was chasing him.

Bell: Ahhhh!

Bell was screaming as he was running away from the monster however due to the fear he was only focused on running away and was doing pretty well for the most part mostly because the monster was weakened and wasn't able to run on full speed but due to Bell's bad luck when he was about to take a turn he tripped on a pebble in the dungeon and fell straight in front into a dead end.

Bell: (Looks like this is as far as I go I am sorry Freya-sama it seems in the end I was pretty useless and I am sorry for making you take care of me for the the past 2 days.)

As Bell had accepted his fate he suddenly felt something unusually warm at first he thought it was his own blood and he was about to die soon but then realized that he wasn't in any pain.

Bell: Huh...? *opening one eye to peek at what had just happened*

Then Bell was amazed as he saw that the minotuar that was chasing him so far had been cut in half. Then the minotuar made a cry and turned to dust just leaving its magic stone behind. 

???: Tch. *Then picks up the magic stone*

Bell then looked at him and realized that he was the person who had saved him. King Ottar of the Strongest in the City, the champion of adventurers, Bell then instantly stands up as fast as possible in his state. 

Bell: Hello Mr.King, I am Bell Cranel Thank you very much for saving me.

Ottar: Whatever it was, just in my way anyway. Now get out of my face.

Bell: Right.

Bell then runs away to the exit but ends up bumping into someone and gets up saying sorry and runs out again this time.

Ottar: *Sighs* What a clumsy kid. *Chuckle*

---------------------------------------------------------- About 15 minutes ago----------------------------------------

Ottar POV

Ottar was currently in the top floor of Babel guarding his goddess but then she had suddenly wanted to have some crystal drops that were freshly picked so she had commanded Ottar to get her some Obeying Ottar makes Allen take his current spot.

About a few minutes after entering the dungeon, he was currently just a little further than the middle of the 5th floor He started to hear very loud screams. At first, he decided to just ignore it as to him the order given by Freya was far more important but after a few seconds, the scream suddenly stopped. Ottar, feeling bad, smashes the wall to his left where the screams were coming from and made a huge hole in the wall.

After he was a minotuar in front of him and a young boy in front of the minotuar. Since he had already broken the wall, he decided to just finish the monster He then took a sword off his back and slashed the monster into 2.

Ottar: I take it that you are the reason that minotuar was here. *Looking at the person who Bell had just bumped into* *He then throws the magic stone he got towards her*

Aiz, who was there, caught it but didn't answer and just looked at the direction that Bell had just left from.

Ottar, who really wasn't going to care whatever she was going to answer, didn't really mind not getting an answer and broke the wall again, which had already repaired from the previous attack and walked to his previous path while the dungeon was repairing its walls again.

Aiz POV

Currently the Loki familia was going back to the surface from their expedition when on the 17th floor a bunch of minotaurs had escaped from their familia. Finn, the Captain of the group, had ordered Aiz and Bete to go and kill all of the monsters that had managed to escape from them.

Aiz and Bete were quickly killing the monsters and there was only 1 left, which Aiz  just ran by by about 5 feet and was about to kill but then got distracted due to the wall being destroyed in front of her.

Then Ottar had killed the minotuar himself and left.

After a few minutes of spacing out, Aiz finally got her thoughts back together and went back to her group with a Bete who was around and had seen the whole scene unfold and kind of wished that he sometimes kept popcorn bags in his pockets for moments like these.

----------------------------------------Bell POV----------------------------------------

Bell was currently in a shower that Babel had for all adventures that were coming out of the dungeon to wash off sweat or blood. As no matter what kind of state of mind he was in he would never look like a clown if he could help it.

After the shower, he went to the guild to meet his advisor with a very happy face.

In the guild, he was looking for her while she just came from behind and tapped his shoulder.

Bell: Hello, Ms.Rose.

Rose: What's the matter? You look pretty happy today, let's go chat in one of the rooms.

Bell and Rose then go to a private room in the guild for advisors and adventurers

Rose: So then what happened today?

Bell: Well, I met the King.

Rose: oh, I guess it's pretty rare for a member of the Freya familia to be on the lower floors, especially the King to be outside of babel's top floor.

Bell: Yea, he saved me from a minotuar that was about to kill me on the fifth floor.

Rose: Wait what?!! *Shounting*

Bell: *Nervous chuckle*

Rose: Why was there a minotuar on the fifth floor and more ever, why were you there? You haven't even been and adventurer for more than half a week you should know better than going so deep.

Bell: I was bored on the upper floors but... (Oh no.)

Rose: You were what? *Angry*

After a huge lecture, Rose finally calmed down.

Bell: Well, aside from that, I want to know more about the King.

Rose: Well, the Freya familia isn't exactly the most cooperative with the guild; in fact your one of the only members of the freya familia that the guild even has advisors for. so even if I wanted to tell you anything I couldn't and the only things that I can tell you are that he is a high level 7 adventurer who turned level 7, 7 years ago during the dark age which is the common knowledge. You would have much better luck talking with your own familia about him.

Bell: Wow I also want to be as strong as him.

Rose: That is near impossible every time he leveled up it is said that he always had all of his abilities in the S rank which most adventurers don't even have a S rank ability. Also it will take forever and only the most talented can do that.

Bell just there and then felt as if Rose was trying to stab his will. But he knew that everything she said was true.

Rose: But maybe you have a talent after all you did reach floor 5 in just 3 days. *Trying to fix her mistake*

Bell: Right I just have to do my best!

After that Bell cashed out his magic stones and left the guild full of determination to be a lot stronger.
