Hailey is just one nice,sweet,pretty,5 year old girl.Her parents never let her out of the house without their permission,they never let her date,have any friends,or do anything that any other teenagers would do.After her mother died, her father started to abuse her.He started to drink.One night he got way to drunk and tried to hurt Hailey.Hailey was scared she froze because she didn't know what to do.So when her father passed out she grabbed the phone dialed 911 but it didn't work she thought to herself,"Did dad cut the cord so the cops wouldn't come ? Am I going to die ? What should I do ?" So Hailey opened the front door it made a loud screeching noise.She said "Is that going to wake dad up?" but it didn't her father was still passed out.Now Hailey said "I shouldn't run away,but if I dont I might get hurt."So Hailey decided to run away anyways she didn't care anymore.
Once she saw some houses with lights on she ran to the closest safe looking house.It was a old lady with a son he was only 12 years old.The old woman asked Hailey why she was covered in bruises.Hailey told the old lady why,and said she needed the cops to arrest her father,because he was abusing her.Well..Hailey thought she wanted to tell the lady that but she didn't.The old lady invited Hailey in and told Hailey where the bathroom was so she could take a shower because Hailey was dirty.
A month after that the old lady died.Hailey and the 12 year old boy Christopher didn't know where to go.So the CPS took them to DSS and waited until someone wated to adopt both of them or one of them.Sadly noone adopted them.
