Clan of Kittypets 1: Rise of a New Clan Chapter 8 Rough Draft

Chapter 8 (original chapter)

Flamestar walked over to the border patrol to ask them if they found any invaders.

"Flamestar! We found scents of another Clan!" hissed Blackpelt.

Why would there be any other Clan cats? The question circled him like a leaf in a wind storm.

"They said to stay out of their territory-which I don't get because the other border was a few fox-lengths away."

"What if they wanted to join the Clan?" Shadowpaw interrupted.

"Yeah, and hedgehogs could fly." Flamestar scoffed. "Why don't you see what the elders are up to?"

"Okay!" The young apprentice cheerfully mewed while running to the elder's den. She sat with her mentor, Fluffytail, and three of Blizzardstream's kits.

"Hey, where's Tigerkit?" Shadowpaw asked.

"Blizzardstream is with him sleeping." Lightfur answered.

"So anyways, what happened with the other Clan?" Flamestar asked.

"They threatened us, then left." Darkwhisker meowed.

"Blizzardstream, why are you here?" Fluffytail asked.

"Oh, well I came to check on my kits!" answered Blizzardstream.

"Blizzardstream! Your kit is missing!" Flamestar hissed.

Fluffytail ran out with Blizzardstream to the nursery. "They've planned it all along." Blizzardstream angrily hissed. "They were waiting till I left."

"I think they needed more kits, or warriors." Fluffytail mewed. "But that breaks the warrior code."

"Then we will find them, and first ask a cat if they know anything about this."

Flamestar, Fluffytail, Scarredear, Darkwhisker, Blackpelt, and Lightfur left to the Clan where they met Firepaw. They sniffed the scent of markers on their border.

"Who are you? Is this a ShadowClan attack?" a gray cat with yellow eyes asked.

"Wait, Graypaw. I know them from when some of them tried to settle in the Sandy Hollow." Firepaw walked up to Graypaw and told him. "So, why did you some here?" the flame-colored tom asked.

Flamestar meowed, "Our queen Blizzardstream's kit, Tigerkit, has been stolen."

"I'm sorry for Blizzardstream's missing kit. One of our queens lost all of her kits and our medicine-cat was found dead. We think it was by a rouge named Yellowfang." Firepaw said. "Would you like to come with us to find your kit?"

"Sure!" Flamestar meowed.

So they walked through the brambles of the ThunderClan entrance, and walked to find Yellowfang.
