We'll see the light again

CHAPTER2

I see Nancy's body and a man hovering over her. I have to help her. I grab the vase and sneak up to the man. I sneak up to him and smash the vase against the back of his head. He immediately collapses on Nancy's body. I roll him off her. But she's unconcious. 

''No, Nancy wake up''

But she's still unconcious and i don't know what to do. I check her pulse, but i can't find it. 

''No, no, no''

I say with tears in my eyes.

''You can't be dead''

I turn to the unconcious man next to her. 

''What have you done, you asshole?!?''

I cry out while hitting his chest. Then i get an idea. He will wake up soon so, i have make sure he can't go anywhere. 

2HOURS LATER

BEN'S POV

I slowly open my eyes. The back of my head hurts. 

''Ugh shit''

I regain my saight and i get a little scared as i see a girl watching me. 

''W-who are you?''

She stands while pointing my gun at me. 

''You took my parents and killed Nancy, now i'll kill you''

She says while pointing the gun at me. She's trying so hard to look intimidaiting, but her watery eyes are giving her away. I can see that she doesn't want to do this. 

''I didn't take your parents''

''But you killed Nancy and now i'm going to kill you''

She was getting ready to pull the trigger. 

''Wait, i can help you find them''

''What?''

''Your parents, i know where they are''

She lovers the gun.

''I don't trust you''

''But i can help you'' ''I know where they took your parents''

She seems to think for a moment. 

''If you're lying i will kill you''

She goes behind me and i feel the ropes losening around me. I stand up from the chair, but then they tighten again. 

''What?''

I ask, confused.

''I don't trust you, now let's go''

She has tied my hands behind my back. So i can't do anything. She takes me to her car and i sit in the passenger seat. She starts driving.

After a while of driving i get bored.

''So, what is your name?''

She doesn't say anything, just keeps driving. 

''Oh come on, it will be a long drive, we should get to know each other, i'm Ben''

''Katelyn, my name is Katelyn, but friends call me Kate''

''Ok, Kate''

''I said friends call me Kate''

''Aren't we friends now?''

She suddenly stops the car.

''No, we're not''

She gets out the car.

''Where are you going?''

''I'll be right back''

She leaves. Then i realize we're at the gas station. This is my chance to get out of here. I free myself from the ropes. I had untited my hands few moments ago. I scoot over so, now i'm sitting behind the steering wheel. I wanted to start the engine, but i couldn't.

''Come one, please start''

I look down and try again. But it wouldn't work. I look up to see angry Katelyn. She comes to my side and opened the door. 

''You were going to run away!''

''No, i was just cheking the car''

''No, you wanted to take my car and run away!''
