I do know what real pain is,
But not just in the physical sense,
The pain that comes to your heart,
The kind no doctor can find on a chart,
The type of pain that makes you want to give up,
That even when you know the way you still remain stuck,
The type of pain that singers sing,
When they make a top 10 hit,
The type of pain that has no medicine or cure,
The same pain that makes you wonder what it's all for!
