I awoke to the sunlight beaming down on my face. I touched my forehead to see if my face was warm and sure enough it felt hot. I lyed down for about thirty seconds just staring outside the window up at the sky. I watched a few birds fly by and dinally I decided to sit up.I slid on my Hello Kitty slippers and I rose up to head for my bathroom.

I looked in the mirror and noticed a new facial blemish. Fuck.I think to myself. I hadn't had a facial blemish in months, and on the last week of school I get one, great.

I wasn't ready to go to school at all. I was geting ready to graduate and the end of the year dance was coming up...I just didn't want to deal with all of this. I hadn't had the time to get a dress for the dance or anything. On top of that, I don't even have a date for the dance. I really want to ask my best fiend but I don't want to ruin our relationship. I'd hat eto do that to him...to us.

I went back to my bedroom and went to my closet, where I already had today's outfit chosen. I always pick my outfit out before I go to bed, I never have time in the morning to decide. Too many choices of what to wear. I threw on my outfit and went into my vanity mirror. I picked up my hairbrush and began to brush my hair out. My hair wouldnt stay flat down so I just put it into a low, side ponytail like I always do when it's being annoying.

I went back into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, grabbed my backpack and started for school. My mom wasnt home and my little sister was asleep, so I just left without having to say goodbye to anyone.

I was too late to take the bus so I started walking down the street. It was a cold, windy day. I just so happened to forget my jacket. Hmph, just my luck. As I was passing by my best friend's house, I hear a door quickly open behind me and slam shut.

"Maroon!" I quickly realize whose voice it is and with a smile on my face, I spin around.

"Tony!" I latch my arms around his shoulders while he latched his arms around my waist.

As we broke from our hug, he asked how my day has been going so far.

"Well, I woke up with a blemish, my hair wasn't acting right, I missed the bus, and I forgot my sweater. So pretty shitty." I said still miling jus because I was with Tony. He keeps a smile on my face.

"Here, wear mine. I don't want you gttin gsick on the last week of school." He offered as he ws taking off his hoodie.

"No, it's fine. Im okay, really."

He basically shoved his sweater in my face, forcing me to put it on.

I let out a slight breath, signifying that he didn't have to do that.

We didn't talk about too much on our way to school, there was nothing to talk about. We just smiled and enjoyed the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind.
