Half an hour later, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie met Ash on the battlefield. They noticed that he had a smile upon his face as he held four extra Poké Balls in his palm.
Bonnie seemed to notice the Poké Balls right away, "Hey Ash, why do you have four extra Poké Balls? Did you catch some new Pokémon?" She questioned.
Ash shook his head. "I made a call to Professor Oak and I asked him to transfer some of my Pokémon from his research lab. These specific Pokémon are known as the A-team."
"The A-team," Serena replied. "Why are they called that?"
"They're the aces from my Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova teams, hence why they're known as the A team. I asked Professor Oak to transfer them to me to assist with Greninja's rescue." Ash calmly explained.
"I would like to see them." Clemont expressed calmly.
"As would I!" Both Serena and Bonnie added.
Ash nodded. "Alright then," He paused before tossing up a Poké Ball. "I choose you!"
From a flash of blue light emerged a bipedal, primate-like Pokémon that was primarily reddish-brown with sections of white fur on its chest, head, and lower legs. Several gold markings adorned its body: swirled, circular ones on its knees and shoulders flame-shaped ones on the back of its hands, and a stripe around its back that forms two swirls on its chest. On top of its head was a large flame, which is never extinguished. It had a orange, rounded muzzle, long, round ears with blue inside, and a red ridge over its eyes. The eyes themselves were blue with yellow sclerae. There were five blue digits on both its feet and hands, and it had a long tail.
"Woah! What Pokémon is that?" Clemont asked out loud while Serena pulled out her Poké Dex. "Infernape, the Flame Pokémon and the final evolved form of Chimchar. Infernape's fiery crown reflects its fiery nature, and its speed is unmatched."
Serena smiled and put her Dex away. "So this in an Infernape. He's pretty awesome looking."
Infernape gave her a nod before turning his attention to Ash and Pikachu. "Ash! Pikachu! How are you! I've missed you both!!"
"We've been awesome, Infernape," Ash replied happily. "I'll introduce you to everyone in a bit. We just need three more friends to join us. Speaking of." He paused as he threw up his next Poké Ball. "Come on out!"
From a flash of blue light emerged a crocodilian Pokémon that had a thick maroon-colored body, black back, and white stomach. It had five triangular spikes on its back: four around the middle of its back and one large one at the beginning of its tail. Each of the smaller spikes on its back are linked to black, triangular spikes that reach around to its front, slightly overlapping its white stomach. The largest spike sits at the beginning of its long thick tail, which has three, thick, black stripes. The last stripe covers the tip of the tail. Its legs are very short and directly attached to its feet. The feet are wrapped in black and have three white claws facing forward. It's arms were short and thin with a black stripe around the elbow. Its long, thin fingers are each tipped with a white claw. Its head is slightly pointed and contains a distinctive black membrane that surrounds both eyes. However, it's eyes were being covered by a pair of red shades that were similar to the ones Pancham often wore. The outline of the membrane angles upward sharply, coming to points above the top of its head.
This time, Clemont pulled out his Poké Dex. "Krookodile, the Intimidation Pokémon and the evolved form of Krokorok. Krookodile can see the smallest prey from miles away, even in the midst of a sandstorm. Its jaws are strong enough to crush a car."
"Wow," Bonnie exclaimed in wonder. "You sound super strong!"
Krookodile gave her a confident smile before high-fiving both Ash and Pikachu. "Where's the other two? We must be needed for something!" He exclaimed.
