I'm lying in my bed, alone tonight. I'd prefer if Tony was here for me to cuddle up to but he went up to Mike and Jaime's room to discuss this band they want to start and I was too tired so I came back here to chill. It's been a week since the party and although we have had a lot of sex, we aren't in an actual relationship as yet. I smile though, knowing we do have something special going on.
I must have dozed off as I hear a loud bang and I jump in fright. I grab my phone and make my way to my bedroom door, cautiously opening it. I see Mike stood there, holding Tony up and start laughing. I take his other arm and we lead Tony to his room. He's a little the worse for wear and wobbling everywhere. I shake my head in amusement as he falls onto the bed, fully dressed. I let Mike know he's good to go before I take off Tony's shoes and pull the covers over his already snoring body. I kiss his cheek before heading back to my own bed, sighing. I wanted a cuddle but he's out of it.
Not surprisingly, I'm awake first the next morning. I sit up and stretch before checking the time. I'm due in work at 11 and it's now 9:30 so I go to make myself a coffee. I'm standing with my back to the bedroom doors and I'm so lost in thought I don't hear Tony walking towards me. I jump ever so slightly as his arms wrap around me waist.
"Good morning" I giggle.
"No. It's not good. I'm dying."
"You have a hangover. You're not dying."
"I am. I need caffeine."
"Well, the kettle is on so have some patience young Jedi."
I hear him moan and I reach up to the cupboard above the sink, where I stashed some Tylenol for moments like this. I pass him the packet and a glass of water before making the coffees. I pass him his and sip at mine slowly, allowing it to cool down. I wash my mug and go to get dressed. Tony is lying on the sofa, facedown. I sneak over to him and gently kiss his cheek before I head off to work.
"Don't leave me. I'm dying" Tony mumbles into the sofa cushions, making me laugh.
"I have to go to work. I won't be gone that long" I say as I open the door.
"Meanie" I hear as I close it. I shake my head in amusement.
It's a quiet day and not long before we close for the day, Tony, Mike and Jaime appear. Jaime needs new bass strings and the others tagged along I'm told. Tony keeps staring at me across the shop so I pull faces at him and go cross eyed making him laugh. He shakes his head and when they get to the till, I act all innocent.
They walk me home. Tony is holding my hand while the others wolf whistle and tease us. Jealous boys. They leave us inside our hallway and we head to our room, his hand never letting go of mine. I have an assignment to finish tonight so I grab my laptop and get to work. This course is proving to be easier for me than I thought it would and to be honest, it's a bit boring. A lot of the stuff I already knew and there's some bitching amongst the other students as I always get good grades but it's not my fault they don't listen. I don't particularly care what they think anyway. If they want to fail that's their choice. I sigh in frustration anyway as I'm done in less than half an hour. I save it to my files and close my laptop. I fall back on the sofa and close my eyes. I'm tired now and can't be bothered moving to my room. I feel a pair of arms pick me up and carry me through as Tony sees how shattered I am. He kisses the top of my head as sleep takes me to a dream world.
