Kara awoke to the sound of her phone's ringtone. Groaning, she turned over and read her digital clock. The red neon numbers and letters reading 12:45 PM. She grabbed the phone and shut her eyes again to shield them from the bright screen. "Hello?" She asked without even peeking at the caller ID.

"How did it go?! What did you guys talk about?"

On the other end was Alex, frantically asking questions about her visit to Lena's apartment last night. "Good afternoon to you too, sis." She replied sleepily then heard Alex kiss her teeth.

"C'mon! I need details. I've been dying to know all night." She pushed.

Kara sighed while sitting up in her bed, rubbing sleep from her eyes. "It went better than I expected. Aside from the initial shock of finding out that I have a son, things were pretty cordial."

Wow, her son. Saying those words would take some getting used to. "God, I knew it! He resembled you to the T!" Alex exclaimed.

That statement woke Kara up. "Wait wait, what do you mean you knew?" The blonde quizzed.

"Okay. I didn't say anything because I wanted to be 100% sure but when I said I ran into Lena at the market, I actually meant Logan. Like, physically ran into him at the end of an aisle. At first I thought he was just a normal random kid running around the store but when I got a good look at him, I immediately saw your entire face and it spooked me a little."

Kara took in what her sister said. She understood what Alex meant since she had the same reaction when her eyes landed on the four year old last night.

"That's when Lena appeared and when everything really made sense."

The kryptonian threw her legs over the edge of her bed and stood up to stretch her long limbs. "So she didn't mention that he was also my kid?"

"No, I'm guessing that's something she wanted you to know first. But, if you don't mind, I'm gonna need those details before the girls wake up and demand something to eat."

Kara chuckled at her sister's nosiness as she went to her curtains and pushed them open, engulfing her room in sunlight. "Well, after you left and I put all the groceries away, I was still a little hesitant about going but I knew I couldn't exactly stand her up. I flew over there 10 minutes early to figure out what I was gonna say and creating multiple different scenarios in my head."

"Okay, when I said details I meant something a little more juicy, Kar."

"Wait, I'm getting there. So, thankfully I spotted Roland, he asked me to take her some groceries that she left in her car so I just used that as an ice breaker. Seeing her for the first time in years was just . . so surreal. She was beautiful of course, even in her spaghetti strap t-shirt and jeans."

The kryptonian took a moment to remember how Lena looked last night.

"Our first interaction wasn't as awkward as I anticipated, just us staring at each other for a few moments before she let me and told me we had to talk. Then . ." Kara began smiling absentmindedly. "This little being marched into the kitchen absolutely excited about the pizza that he and Lena made and I couldn't believe my eyes, Alex."

"See! That's how I felt when I saw him too." The redhead expressed. "I thought I was losing my mind for a second. Geez, Kar, you really have a kid, a son. I have a nephew!"

The blonde could hear the excitement in her sister's voice which made her smile even harder. "I know right! It still feels unreal."

"So, did you two talk? You know, clear things up."
