The Year was 1775, and the typhoon was roaring with the waves. You can't see significantly far other than on your ship. A thick mist covered the atmosphere.
"Maintain moving forward, men!" the commander shut his eyes to hold water from harming his eyes.
While it seemed like another 100 years, they reached where they intended to be, and the storm calmed down. The captain gradually stepped down, his cape flowing behind him and weapons rattling on his belt. His heavy boots pounded the wood floor. The giant pirate bunch looked around, waiting for orders.
"sink the anchor, and locate the chest on my map. It shouldn't be that challenging." his rich voice demanded.
The crew immediately went to work; the ones that stood not assisting in finding the chest worked tending the ship.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"We finally found the chest!" One pirate hollered.
After the crew finally got the chest onto the ship, The pirates stood around the chest, studying the attractive riches among them. Being pirates, they were eager to open the chest.
"Stop huddling around the chest like a pack a orcs," The captain exclaimed, opening the captain's quarters' heavy doors.
"Unlock the chest." He instructed.
In an instant, the chest had no problem with opening. Once it was open, the contents inside were almost blinding, with rubies and emeralds on what seemed to be armor pieces. There were about seven.
A chest plate was carved with what seemed to be a cat; The chest plate belonged to a woman. The single ruby gleamed with gold. Another looked like a glove or a human palm, and the armor was marked with a playing card. The rest were challenging to identify.
"What are these?" One of the crew members wondered.
The captain turned to the chest, smirking.
"It's the end of mortal kind." his cold stare made the whole crew shiver.
