It was late one afternoon I just came from the barn where daddy told me todo some chores but of course I was just in there to see the wranglers one I particular Rip he was the one that I've been in love with since I was 10 years old but my daddy always forbid it all the other cowboys see me as poor ole Delilah because I seen my mom drown at the river.

Rip was the only one who has gone through a trauma like that so he doesn't judge me I'm 23 now so still living with daddy because he's thinks he knows best but I think it's horse shit I have three older brothers and a sister Kayce,Lee,Jamie and then Beth.

Me and Rip are standing outside of the barn when all of a sudden lee comes out of the barn "you know about this shit" he says to me "it's to early for this lee do I know about what" I said while slowly taking my hand out of rips pants "the brand on fucking Kayces chest" he says I have my head down at this point because I know exactly what he's talking about only 4 people have that my dad John my brother,Rip and me "yes lee what about it" I say walking away from them both lee walks behind me continuing the conversation "why does he have it" he asks "you don't wanna know what we did to get these" I yelled at him trying to get him to stop asking "what do you mean we" he questioned "me daddy rip we all have them not by choice so just leave it the fuck alone lee" I say yelling but as soon as I get done I see daddy walking out of the house "what's all this damn yelling about" he says "nothing daddy just lee being an older brother and an ass." I say rolling my eyes

I went into the hay barn to get hay for my mustang that rip was breaking for me. Daddy got him for me to congratulate me for getting into a good collage I'm going to collage to be a vet. I snap out of my thoughts when a car is peeling down the drive way it was Beth she hated me because daddy was never proud of her like he is me he only goes to her when I'm not available and that's almost never.

I walked back to the barn where Rip and daddy were talking and I over head my dad say "if you have to take them to the train station" I've only heard that once before and it was my dad saying that to Lee I've never knows what they were talking about so maybe this is my chance to figure it out
