He needs me- Shelly Duvall
Okay... I guess i'm going to have it that Avdol already found and killed Cameo before The Joestar club showed up. Also, Mature rating turned on..Avdol trek to go buy a submarine was fairly uneventful.
The SWF gave him some rather descriptive instructions...
"Pretend to be your father...? Are you kidding me, Mr Joestar?" Avdol sighs and punches the bridge of his nose, huffing out as he puts on a fake beard.
"Put on the grey hair paint, fake beard and separate outfit and follow the script..? The script?" He reads and questions aloud, watching you sit back and relax. Thank god you could both relax in peace.
The speedwagon foundation had the liberty of reuniting you and Avdol with the Joestars at the same time... but you just had to come out AFTER Avdol revealed he was in fact not his father.
"(Y/n), must we do such cruel jokes to our allies?" Avdol sighs and shakes his head, looking at his appearance in a handheld mirror.
"I have a secret to share with you if you are that profoundly disappointed by this.. prank," You giggle.
"Hm? What is it?" He hums, putting on a different necklace.
"I told Polnareff you are alive. Don't be mad," Your face turns sweaty, realizing he might not take to that well.
"Ah, I see. Yes, if I were you I would tell him too, don't be worried." He starts. "Polnareff may be silly, but no doubt he's a grown man who knows better. I even thank you for doing it," He smiles, satisfied that he would not be devastated.
"I'm glad you aren't angry. He's not a baby," You sigh. "In a book I read one time, singling out your allies, ridiculing, and having mistrust of each other ultimately leads to low performance and in worse case death." You smile, proud to know this.
"Perhaps Im mistaken, but was this advice from a a 'zombie survival book'?" Avdol gives you a knowing smile.
You just cheekily smile back.
"Oh, oh! I think I hear them.." He smiles, creeping over to where the little boat showed up. "Time for action! (Y/n), go hide!" Avdol smiles, running forward.
You creep back behind the old building, listening closely to the voices you hear.
"Wait...think I saw some.."
"Let's fol...w..."
"Mr J.... hy are we here again?"
"To see someone..."
"Go away! Nobody comes here to share good news!" Avdols voice rings out.
"Ummm. Avdol?" Polnareff says outloud.
"No, that's his father." Joseph says.
Man, their voices are quite distinct.
"I SAID GO!" Avdol shouts, super in character.
"Why does his dad look identical to him?" Polnareff says again. The suspicion is evident in his voice.
This wasn't part of the script?
"Avdol, that is you!" Polnareff says again. You peek from past the house, watching. Polnareff walks up to him and gives him a big hug, smiling.
"You knew Avdol wasn't dead! How?" Kakyoin asks.
"My prank!!!" Joseph cries out. Polnareff returns to his original standing spot, turning around and away from Avdol, watching the questions (and confused stare) flood in.
While they're talking amongst themselves, when Avdol turns around and waves you out behind the building.
You walk out slowly, anxious due to the attention out on you. Joseph's grumpy look as well as Kakyoin and Jotaro's confused stares lift as they turn to you and give warm, welcoming smiles (and a mildly happy smirk).
"What are you guys looking at?" Polnareff says. He glances over his abnormally large shoulders, looks at you, turns back to Joseph and Kakyoin, then quickly spins his full body around again. Talk about a double take.
You smiles at the group. "Hi." You say.
"(YYYYY/NNNNNNN)!!!!!!!!!!" Polnareff shouts, sprinting full force at you. He runs to you, picking you up by your sides, pulling you into his chest and spinning you in a big, giddy circle. You're very crushed in his arms, face full of Polnatiddies.
"Jean-Pierre!! I missed you!" You beam at him, your noses touching.
"Talk about favorites." Avdol grumbles.
Polnareff doesn't put you down, opting to hold you bridal style, you waving and smiling at the group behind you.
"Hi (Y/n). We were worried about you, but didn't let our group morale get too low." he flicks his head so his red noodle gets out of his face. He walks up to Polnareffs back, looking at your face over his shoulder.
"Aw geez, since you remembered all that nonsense I told y'all, I guess I need to start saying orangutan instead of monkey." Your tone is lighthearted.
Jotaro, trying to be sly, tries to walk up to you as cool and composed as he can be. In reality, he's relatively excited. At least, for Jotaro's standards.
"Hi, Joot. I missed you too. I didnt forget about you," You smile at him, hand appearing over Polnareffs shoulder to flick the brim of his hat.
"...Hey." He looks around to make sure no one is watching, and lets his gaze soften. "I'm glad you recovered safely."
"Thanks. Don't worry. I know you missed me." You lift your head back over to look at Pol, who is now following Joseph.
"Where are we going?" You whisper to him.
"Ma fraise, apparently a submarine. Did you hear him?" Polnareff whispers back.
"Nooooo...." You smile cheekily. "A submarine? Ah, yes, Avdol told me about it. He spent some time studying how to operate one while we were waiting."
"Mmh," Jean hums. He sets you down on your feet in the sand, where the submarine is.
"Well, crew, this is what we will be taking!" Joseph smiles.
After he explains to everyone here that you'll be taking the submarine and that there isn't much to be worried about, you all pile into the submarine. Guess this is where you'll be staying.
Time passes. You're on a direct road... er, sea, to Egypt. But for now, it's bedtime. Your favorite time... and who you are bedding with is unsurprisingly Polnareff. All of the 3 beds are in the same little room, each person having to sleep in the bed with another.
Polnareff hasn't let go of you since you arrived.. mostly. He lets you go occasionally, but not for long. By now, everyone in their beds are asleep but you and Polnareff.
