Jake pushes Jay towards their shared hotel room and spares a wink to Sunghoon just before closing their door. Jay was grumbling under his breath when they walked in but then he suddenly stopped. Stopped grumbling and stopped walking altogether.

"What?" Jake asks because the older seems to be frozen. He peeks over Jay's shoulder and—

"... Oh."

There's only one bed.

"Well, at least it's twin-sized," Jake says optimistically, shrugging and walking past Jay, and dropping his bag somewhere. He's not really new to sharing a bed contrary to his initial thoughts.

"Wha—I can't sleep beside someone!" Jay complains and drops his bag dramatically as Jake sits on the bed.

"Oh come on, we'll fit."

Jay pouts, not moving an inch. The fact that he's not really pouting on purpose is funnier and cuter to Jake and so he ends up giggling.

"Ya, stop laughing! We need to contact our managers," Jay says and immediately fetches his phone from one of his pockets.

"You sure? They're probably pulling an all-nighter looking for a new rent house," Jake states as he lays on the bed. Jay stops midway to scrolling on his phone and looks at him. Jake shrugs and the older finally concedes with a heavy sigh. "Come here, Jay, you'll see it's not really that bad."

The older reluctantly walks towards Jake until he's hovering on the side. Jake rolls to one side of the bed to provide space and after sighing again, Jay finally clambers onto the bed and plops down beside Jake on his stomach, the bed bouncing a little at the action. Jake beams at Jay's unimpressed face.

"You're too close," Jay complains. Jake glares at him weakly.

"It's fine!"

"It's not! I can't sleep like this!"

"Oh, you're such a baby. It's not like we'll sleep while staring at each other! We'll be closing our eyes, you know!"

"I'm not a baby! Ugh! Fine!" Jay finally budges, albeit grudgingly, and pushes himself up. He goes to pick up his bag and settles on the floor to unpack.

"Pouting," Jake teases and Jay scoffs in return. He really loves teasing Jay.

Jake didn't expect that opening up to people who matter to him will feel like this. Jake is always happy whenever he's with his members. It's just impossible to not have fun with them. And even when they're all having a hard time, they're having a hard time together and it assures Jake that he's not alone. That his members are not alone. He always try his best to be there for the others and he loves knowing that he can be of help to them.

Heeseung is one of the most talented person out there. If not in the whole world. He's seriously talented and he seems effortless but he actually pours blood, sweat, and tears to produce those results. Heeseung has his utmost respect and Jake looks up to him. Whenever their oldest act cute towards Jake, he always indulges him. It's how he and Heeseung somehow made it a routine to eat ramyeon almost every night.

Sunghoon is his best friend. There's no other way to say it. Jake likes Sunghoon a lot. He's always been there for Jake and even though he knows that there is a huge gap between their talents and skills, Sunghoon never made him feel like it. Sunghoon always encourages him and Jake treasures him, doing his best to comfort the former or to just be there whenever Sunghoon needs him.

Sunoo will always have a special place in his heart as the person he performed 'Crown' with. If Jake thinks about it, he and Sunoo has been through a lot. Both of them are new to the trainee life when they first started and even now as idols. They didn't have the same experience as the others when it comes to singing and dancing. As a result, they always confide and give feedback to each other, determined to not let their short training period hinder themselves and the team. Sunoo amazes Jake in a lot of ways and Jake yearns to learn from him. He's also a very cute dongsaeng who doesn't hesitate when it comes to giving out a helping hand.
