"Hurry up Alice, you don't what to be late for your new school," Mum said excitedly
while she jumped up and down.
"Ohhhhh," I groaned as I fell out of my bed. When I got up, I purposely left my glasses on my bedside table and thinking to myself, why would I want my new classmates thinking I'm a nerd? Then I put my new school uniform on,making sure my socks weren't pulled right up to my knees and trudged my way to the bathroom. I looked into the bathroom mirror " Wow,there is so many thing I going to change about me,"I thought as I frowned. I got out my mum's hair straightener and tried to flatten the the annoying curl that stuck out on the side off my head. Finally, then I got the curl to stick down, I pushed my hair to the side my head and made my browny and blond hair into a beautiful side plait. After I took 1000 times to do my hair, I trudged my way downstairs
"Oh hi darling,what some Weet Bix,"Mum said excitedly.
"No thanks Mum,I'm not feel up to it today,I will cook some toast," I said quietly as I got the toaster out from the cupboard under the sink.
"Ok," Mum said quietly.
"Well,here are your books and I got I surprise for you,"Mum sang.
"Here,"Mum said excitedly and she handed me a blue and purple bag with nice white flowers,was beautiful.
"Oh my gosh,I love it thanks so much,"I screamed.
"Oh I'm so glad you like it,"Mum said joyfully.
I grab a piece of toast and put some butter on it and took a bite of it.
I snatched my books and put them in my new bag and jammed my lunch box in as well.
"Bye Mum,love you,"I said quietly.
"Bye darling,Love you too, have a great day,"Mum said excitedly and patted me on the back.
"Bye," I said.
I stepped out the door and turn around,locking the door behind me. As I walk down the grey steps I started to walk to my new school.
"Oh my gosh, I scared stiff'"I mumbled to myself.
