The New Girl

"My name is Maka." Maka said. She was at her first day of school at Death Weapon Meister Academy. "You'll be sitting there beside Soul, Soul feet down!" her new teacher said. The class started murmuring what an honor of the Death Scythe's daughter was in their class. She rolled her eyes. If only they knew what her father was like. An annoying, liar, childish man. He always flirted with girls. That meant cheating on her mother. Her father was Spirit. Her parents had a divorce last month. Serves him right. After settling in her seat, her new seatmate said to her "Sup?' . She just gave him a nod and only a nod, shy. Soul. He wore a yellow and black varsity jacket, he had white hair and a band around his temples with the word 'Soul'.

After they were dismissed, the other students went straight to the cafeteria. It was lunch. However, Maka, being the new student, wandered around the school. And before she knew it, she was lost. 'Darn' she thought. She didn't like it when she got lost. It was embarrassing. After wandering so carelessly for a few minutes around the school, she finally found the cafeteria. She sat down at a table located at a corner all alone with her food. Her social life has been damaged, all because her dad moved her here. In the middle of her meal, Maka heard a loud noise. She looked where it was coming from. It came from the table in the middle. They were laughing and chattering happily, something she did with her friends at her previous school. One of them was Soul. Annoyed with her dad and devastated at the thought she had no friends here, she pushed away her lunch and decided to head to her next class.

'Not again!' she thought. She was lost again. She kicked the wall so hard a crack came. She kicked it again and again. She did this until a hole was in the middle of the wall. " That' some serious power you have there, yo!" someone said. She looked up. A boy with blue hair and a girl with black hair looked at her. She gulped. She was caught. "My name is Tsubaki" the girl said. "This is-" "Black Star's the name!" the boy cut Tsubaki off. "My name is Maka." she said. Things were going smoothly. Black Star looked closer at her. "So you're the new girl Soul was talking 'bout." he said. Maka blushed. Soul had been talking about her? "YAHOO!!" He shouted. "I MET THE NEW GIRL!!" 'What a dumbass' she thought 'He's excited because I'm new. What? He's mocking me or something?' She collected her willpower to control the urge not to hit him with the book she had in her hands now. "What a way to greet the new girl, Black Star" a familiar voice said. She looked. Soul! "Ya' lost?" He asked her. "Y-y-yes?" she stuttered. 'Fuck!' she asked a question! She closed her eyes, ready to hear the laughing. Or not. She opened her eyes. She saw Soul smiling down at her. 'Charming' she thought. "Let's go. You're in my next class."
