There once was a girl but her smile had a twist,

With a knife for a pen and a canvas of her wrist,

A face white with sorrow, and her eyes black and blue,

She told nobody her problems but none looked for what was true.

There once was a boy but his attitude was a twist,

His mother was invisible and he knew his father by his fist,

His poetry was soft but his attitude was rude,

Nobody gave him a chance, for they all found him crude.

There once was teen, and her story had a twist,

Her tears were crying words but her voice was always missed,

Beautiful on the inside but nobody bothered to see,

Instead they mocked her outside and refused to set her free.

There once was an adult and his past has a twist,

His life was a bottle and suicide now on the list,

He never wanted to sink, but to rise like the sun,

But was shot down by lyrics of cruelity, and lost to the sound of a gun.

There once was a child, her future still ahead,

Moonlight shining on her, no tears were being shed.

She lead a bright life, her eyes glowing green,

She lead a new beginning, the canvas being cleaned.
