Y/N POV
Today is the day. After the whole doja cat drama, Joseph and i thought it would be a good idea to tell our friends that we are together. It's a little nerve racking but I would rather tell them, then something happen again. We just asked them to join a zoom call since everyone is all over the world right now doing press for Stranger things. As the time approach i started to pace the apartment Joseph and i shared.
"Hey sweetheart. It's going to be ok. Why are you so nervous love" Joseph asked me as he walked over to me, putting his hands on my shoulder to stop me from walking around.
"I don't know. I know they are our friends and they will support us no matter what but what will they say. It's all very scary. I mean we have kept it a Secret for so long. We even quarantine together during the lock down, which is crazy how no one found out then" i chuckle at the last part, which made Joseph smile. He wrapped me in a hug, and I placed my head on his chest, being able to hear his heart beat. It was beating so fast, he must be nervous as well but keep it together for me. I pulled my head up to look him in the eyes.
"It will be ok" i breathed out, Joseph gave me a small smile.
"It will be ok" he said back before giving me a kiss on the lips. I looked at my watch, seeing it was time for us to sign in to the call. Everyone started to sign in one by one. Natalia and Charlie where in their home together, Millie and Noah were together in France, Gaten was in New York, Finn was at his family home, Sadie and maya were together also in New York and joe was in California. Of course Joseph and I were together, this was the first time in a while we were all together again. Everyone was just catching up with each other, it was really nice seeing everyone again, all in one place even if we weren't in the same building.
"Y/N what are you doing in London. Are you working on a project or something there, is that why you and Joseph are together" Gaten started asking me.
"Well, actually that's why we asked you guys to come to this zoom call" i said looking over at Joseph, he grabbed my hand giving it a little squeeze to reinsure that everything was ok.
"We actually want to tell you guys personally before it could possibly get out. Joseph and i are dating, we will have being together for 3 years this January " i spoke with a smile, which caused Joseph to smile as well. The chat blow up with congratulations, laughing, "I told you so" and "I knew it". This made me smile even bigger.
"How did you keep it a Secret for so long" Finn asked
"Well we actually have no idea. There were so many times, we almost got caught on set or in public. We for sure thought we would have been found out already" Joseph answered Finns question.
"And since the thing with doja cat kinda started we thought it would be a good idea to tell our friends before the media get wind of it" i add to what Joseph said.
"Y/N and Joseph I'm so sorry, if i would have know I would have never posted anything" Noah add.
"Noah you are fine. We know you didn't mean any harm and we don't blame you. We had to tell people one way or the other. Plus, we couldn't keep a Secret from our family anymore" i said with a big smile. We just continue to talk for a bit before people started to sign off.
"That when well" i said as Joseph closed the laptop.
"I told you it would" he smiles at me before picking me up and taking me to the couch. I laughed as we walked over to the couch, he sat me down before standing back up.
"Movie time?" He asked with a smile.
"Movie time" i returned the smile, Joseph leaned down giving me a kiss before walking to the kitchen to make popcorn.
"I love you" i yelled at him from the couch, decided which movie to watch.
"Love you more" he said, returning with the popcorn before sitting down next to me
