The prison was located in a tower but was still part of the palace. It was dark, quiet, cramped, and cold. Pietro could hear no other voices but the voices of his own mind.
Being trapped in the cramped room made him uneasy with limited space, the thought that he couldn't run anywhere to free himself had messed with the control he was trying to hold.
Pietro hugged his knees to his chest, he pondered. He didn't understand why he had lost control and did things he had never even thought of before. Pietro tugged at his own hair viciously, he wanted to know why he was acting the way he did, he wanted to piece together this puzzle and make things clear.
"Pietro..."
"Wanda!" Pietro stood up, he went closer to the door, looking through the bars at the top of it.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
Wanda nodded, "I should be the one asking, you idiot!"
"I'm fine," Pietro assured.
Wanda sighed in relief, "I'll do everything to get you out of here, okay?" She promised.
"I know you will," Pietro nodded in understanding, he believed her.
Pietro gripped the iron bars tightly, for a moment he wished he had the power of his Father and Lorna to bend them.
"Wanda..." He started.
"I swear I don't know why I did what I just did, I don't know what happened to me, seeing the gene-fest made something inside me snap, and I felt I have to steal the mists before more children were mutated by it," Pietro explained.
Wanda could hear Pietro's voice a little bit shaking and unsure.
"I know this sounds crazy, but... I feel that something or someone was controlling me, and I couldn't resist it," Pietro told her honestly.
Wanda stuck her hand in between the bars, Pietro took it, they held hands and all fear evaporated, replaced by hope.
"I trust you," Wanda said without the slightest doubt in her mind.
"I believe that you wouldn't do something like that, you don't have any reason to do that," she continued.
Pietro nodded in agreement, he smiled sadly.
"Wanda, How's Luna? Is she okay?" Pietro asked, he was worried about his daughter, she had been exposed to the terrigen mists, Pietro was afraid that it would have a bad impact on her, considering she wasn't fully Inhuman.
