The Mansion (PTX) : Book 1

Chapter 1 - Mansion sweet Mansion

The presenter of the show stood outside giving a good view of the mansion behind him, he had a microphone in his hand. There were 5 camera's on him catching many angles of him. He straightened the shiny silver blazer he wore and then ran his hands down his sliver pants that matched. He also wore a purple tie and a plain buttoned white shirt. His make-up artist quickly rushed to him to give him one last pat of foundation on his cheeks, then disappeared out of the camera range.

"You're on in five, four, three, two..." One camera man who stood perfectly opposite him said counting down with his fingers. Once he got to one the presenter shot a big smile and brought the microphone towards him.

"Welcome to 'The Mansion!'" He said using his free hand to make a sassy wiping motion across the sky. "My name is Todrick Hall and I will be the presenter of the first ever season of this show! The Mansion is a reality show featuring 12 complete strangers all competing for one thing..." A lady dressed in a black bikini rolled a sliver table to where Todrick was, on top of it was a serving plate with a cover on. She took off the cover to reveal $10,000 in cash then walked off. "$10,000!" Todrick continued. "Yes that's right, one of those 12 lucky competitors will win that. However, it's not as simple as that! To win that they must be willing to face crazy challenges. Also, every five days there will be a nomination by the housemates to see who will face elimination. The winner of the challenge is automatically immune. The two with the most nominations faces elimination. Then it's your job!" Todrick, again using his free hand, pointed at the camera to the ones at home watching this live."You, the viewers will have the chance to vote one of the nominated people out! As we wait for out housemates to arrive, we'll take a short break. Don't you dare touch that remote, we'll be back soon!" He chuckled. The camera's shut off and Todrick's smile faded. "I'm so damn hungry" One of his assistants snapped into concentration.

"Right on it sir!" She shouted while running into the mansion which had all the food you could ask for. She came back in three minutes with a bucket of chicken in her hands. "Here you are sir!"

"What the hell is this? I'm black so you think I love chicken?!" Todrick's eyes narrowed.

"I-I-I I'm so s-sor-" Her lips quivered and it looked as if she was paralyzed.

"I'm kidding hunny, I'm only kidding." He smirked and stroked her cold face. He took a chicken out of the bucket and just when he was about to bite it a man dressed in a black and white suit came up to him. He had an earpiece in and used his index finger to press it closer to his ear for a better sound of what someone was trying to say to him.

"Ummm sir, the first contestant is said to be hear in 5 minutes. You have to get back in position!" The man shooed the assistant out of the camera view and took the chicken that was in Todrick's hand.

"Hey, I didn't even get a bite!" Todrick complained but the man didn't listen. The camera man set the camera on Todrick again and counted down, when he got to 1 he turned the camera on. Todrick held the microphone to his face and started speaking. "Did you miss me? We're back and it looks like our first contestant is minutes away!" He went on talking about the mansion to keep the viewers entertained while the contestant was on their way. Suddenly a white limo pulled up outside the enormous black gates which was the entrance. "OUR FIRST CONTESTANT IS HERE!" Todrick shouted with enthusiasm. He rushed himself through the black gates and to the limo with the camera following him steadily. One body guard stood beside the door and when Todrick nodded his head, he opened it. One black high heel clacked on the ground and the other joined it soon after. The lady stood up out of the limo and a black silky material draped to the ground. She wore a beautiful long black dress; it was sleeveless and had a layer of lace covering the whole thing. You could really see the swirly pattern from her color collar bone down to just above her chest. She smiled at Todrick.
