Were Just Friends(Katrina Stuart's Sister)

Introduction

You are Katrina Stuart's little sister. She is 22 and you are 17. You were close growing up with each other. When you had a friend over, Kat would join in and you'd all get along. You used to play dolls and video games with each other, sing and dance and put on little shows for your parents. That all changed when Kat left for college. Katrina got a job requiring her to leave for LA after she had finished school and after a few months, she decided to move over there, separating you both for god knows how long at this point. You tried texting Kat, but she rarely responded, said she was too busy with her boyfriend.
Everything became a nightmare not have an older sister around and you realised how you needed to do something with your life.

For your 18th, you were planning on flying out to LA to go and see Kat again, even if it meant having to save up money to go and travel there. Eventually, you built the courage to ask your parents and they willingly payed for some of the journey. You were thrilled so you text Katrina and things just got better from that day. She responded to your message and also payed for some of the journey and told her to pack as much as she could as they had room in their house for her to live there too, so you set straight off to work. It took a few weeks to get everything sorted and your birthday was 4 days away. You tried to spend as much time with your friends and family as you could over the course of those few days, saying your farewells and see you soon- underestimating how long you'd be there for. 2 days went by quickly, you FaceTimed Katrina and she offered to pick her up from the airport when she had landed, you agreed and it was all exciting, but not at the peak of excitement just yet.

Departure day came, your parents dropped you down early, watched you stamping your passports and walked you to the gate. You had just arrived on time as you began boarding as soon as you sat down. It was an emotional time for you and quite a large step from what you imagined. You took your seat on the plane, and stared out of the window, waving goodbye to the area you were once in. The plane took off and you immediately drifted off to a light sleep but your phone started ringing after a few hours. It was Kat, so you decided to pick up the phone.

Kat: hey y/n how are you
Y/n: I'm fine, Im about 2 hours away now, I've just been asleep. Thankfully you rang me or i would've missed getting off the plane.
Kat: oh wow. No worries, wouldn't want your cash going to waste. I can't wait to see you again, it's been so long, can't believe it's your 18th next week, crickey you were hardly 12 when left, wow it's been nearly 6 years since I've seen your gorgeous face.
Y/n: I want to change up my look actually, I'm getting a little sick of it. Mom never let me change my hair colour, little did she know little miss Stuart on the end of the phone went purple! I bet she'd freak out If she saw you. Does it feel good now you don't have parents around?
Kat: absolutely! Being with Sam, Colby, Stas and everyone else every day is an absolute dream. No being told what to do, where to go or anything. And congrats on finishing school. What are you going to do now?
Y/n: i got an A in photography so I want to do more photography and stuff, I was hoping your boyfriend and his friends are experienced?
Kat: yes they are. They don't know your coming yet but I will make sure they don't act daft or treat you badly. Sam is my boyfriends name and Colby is His best friend. I think your his type to be fair. And yes we are all famous YouTubers, I haven't posted with them for a while but I was wondering if we could film with you, not getting camera shy?
Y/n: of course, i love being on camera. What sort of stuff do they do?
Kat: cool, they are paranormal investigators so stuff to do with haunted locations and ghosts, Demons etc, exactly your style from memory.
Y/n: yup, I did a little bit of abandoned photography and I know how to do spirit photography and stuff, I'd love going along with them to take some shots. I can make like a little red room maybe and capture them on camera, im actually saving for a new camera  to do that stuff.
Kat: oh cool, congrats and it's been an hour, you should only be a little while away. Also I'll pay for your cameras, clothes and stuff. It's my bday treat.
Y/n: well it's my birthday tomorrow, it's not even 11am. Crikey. I mean, I was up at 2 , on the plane for 4 so wow, im not surprised I fell asleep. Okay we're landing in half an hour, you might wanna start driving. I'll see you there!
Kat: okay, what are you wearing, so I can find you?
Y/n: Im in a black ghost t shirt with fishnet clothes and ripped grey jeans with a purple and blue suitcase. Coming off at gate 2 in 20.
Kat: I'll be there don't worry. Alright I'll see you when I get there, bye! Love you!
Y/n: see you then, love you.

You knew that things were only going to get better for you and you couldn't believe you were about to reunite with your sister after almost 6 years. The plane landed, you got off the plane, walked along the window to the bag collection, grabbed your suitcase and took a seat, one leg crossed over the other. You looked around for Kat, no sign of her. You felt something touch your hand..
