Painful was one word but actually feeling your feet entire feet numb was another story.
You couldn't even stand and you can only let out small whimpers leaving your lips but also trying to muffle your sound because you didn't wanna spare a second of being interrogated because of the pain on your ankle.
As you were in verge of shouting, you received a phone call from your mother, swallowing the lump in your throat you picked it up anyway as you tried to hide the fact your voice was shaking due to the pain.
"Mom?"
"I'll be home later, make sure the house is clean and there will be food when I arrived or else, you're out."
You nodded and hummed instead of answering with words but this went unnoticed by your mother as she started interrogating you anyway.
"Where are you?"
You gulped once again, it was already lunchtime and you failed to go to school since your ankle was too painful.
"School."
"Why is it quiet then?"
"I'm at the library."
"Why is your voice shaky?"
"I ran here . "
"And why is that?"
"Yana was chasing me."
Silence engulfed the conversation . You heard her breathe in as she started talking again.
"Are you lying?"
Clenching your fists tightly, you parted your lips and replied.
"I'm not, mother."
She sighed on the other line before speaking one last time.
"It's not really on my business anymore."
Hunging up, you sighed heavily. Laying down on your bed once again as you accidentally moved your ankle causing you to whimper once more.
Sitting up, you reached for your earphones and plugged it in your phone as you dialed Yana's number.
You really didn't wanna disturb your bestfriend, but this was important and she was the only one who can help you in such situations.
"Yana, why didn't you focus during math class, huh? Just because you're my little sister I will be holding back." The elder Imaushi spoke but his words fell on deaf ears while Yana was thinking about something deeply.
"Yana?" Wakasa called out , sitting on his chair while his little sister was sitting on the chair in front of his desk.
Wakasa sighed, knowing exactly what she was thinking as he was too, bothered by the fact why a certain girl wasn't at school.
Interrupting their train of thoughts Yana's phone rang and she immediately picked it up and saw her bestfriend's number.
"[Y/N]?" What happened to you? Why aren't you at school?" She asked immediately.
Waving Wakasa's hand, taking Yana's attention, he gestured her to put it on speaker and he felt it was okay since they were the only ones in the office right now.
Upon hearing the shake of her voice, Wakasa's eyes widened suddenly remembering the events of yesterday and she haven't even said anything yet , he already grabbed his keys but was stopoed by Yana.
