this is a loooooong one

i went back to sleep after being woken up by my alarm and slept for another 50 minutes or so.
i dreamt i was in the efteling, a dutch theme park that's like my favorite place on earth, it's very special. i often have dreams that i'm there but the park is always slightly different.

i was there with both my parents and with bear, my dad usually doesn't go with us so that was cool. we were walking around and i had in my earbuds and was listening to lana del rey's second poetry album (that doesn't exist (yet)). we were there just to see one thing, i don't remember what but we were already done (this is strange because we always go full days), but i asked my mom if we could still go in the 'hong kong' and then in the 'chinese eagle' and she said 'sure, why not!' and so we went. (it's important to know these two attractions don't exist in the actual park. there's a 'chinese nightingale' which i was probably inspired by idk). i told my mom on the way to 'hong kong' lana's second poetry album was all about arabian nights just like this attraction. (i know this is weird because hong kong isn't arabian but i guess dream me didn't know that.)
i remember specifically turning on my phone wanting to like the current lana poem i was listening to on spotify, it had a black and white cover of her face, but accidentally skipping back a song instead of liking and having a made up marina song play with a made up cover. then i put my phone away and stopped listening.
we went in hong kong and there was no one at first. my mom took the wrong, longer entrance, that was set up for when it's busy. it was a very quiet day with very little people.
'hong kong' looked like one of those big japanese/chinese houses you see in minecraft and such, but really really big. it was very broad. i think i subconsciously named it after the gorillaz song that i've been playing a lot recently.

we went in and walked through a lot of halls without coming across anyone. we then got through a small room with three ways we could go. the first entry was extremely small and pushed together and probably none of us would be able to fit through so we were confused. then we saw the two other doors. the first one we opened was a small space with stairs that led nowhere. the third entry, a similar looking door, was a hall way with a bunch of people in line so we knew that was the right entry and stood in line as well.
we had to get into a little boat in a dark room. it was very scary and not secure at all. the boats looked like they were made of white linen.
we then went through a small tunnel leading to a big room. the tunnel was made of white archs to your left and right and under each arch you could see statues/animatronics of the main character of the story doing something. he was a kind of good looking tall man with brown skin and dark brown hair. i don't know what his ethnicity was supposed to be but he didn't look japanese so 'hong kong' still doesn't really make sense. i remember specific archs where there was a tiger and one where he was eating from a plate at a table, and one at the end where he was just standing up. the tunnel was only four archs or so long but different on both sides.
we came into a big room with high ceilings, low floors and the bunch of little boats floating around in a half circle until going into a tunnel where the actual attraction started. we floated around for a bit (didn't actually float, we were suspended to rails on the ceiling of course, even in my dreams the mechanics are still realistic) until we got to a little part on the side where efteling employees helped you get into you seat (which is weird because we were already seated) and it was very scary because you could fall very easily. i remember my dad touching my shirt, a red and white oversized striped polo (i don't actually own), and saying it was 'priceless' and my mom saying it was from bershka again. i didn't know if they meant they absolutely loved it or hated it because the fabric was awful to the touch according to them.
and so we floated into the first real tunnel and the attraction began, and i don't remember much from that, but it was something about following the story of this man.
in my dream this wasn't a new attraction or anything just like the 'chinese eagle' that we were yet to visit and i'm dying to know what it's like, they had just always been there but i hadn't visited them much.

rating 8/10: nothing too bad happened and i think it's very creative of me to make up entirely new attractions haha they should hire me.
