The Entrance Exam

A/n: your quirk is puppeteer, to activate it you just have to speak to a person and have them reply. To control their actions you have to move your fingers, to use their quirk do a flicking motion with your hands. Your drawbacks are numb fingers and headaches if you use it too much.

The sound of my alarm echoes in my room. "5 more minutes~" I mumbled. Shifting myself under the weight of the warm blanket. "Y/n! You better not still be sleeping!" Glancing toward the door I see my mom standing there with her hands on her hips. "You have to take the entrance exam today." She sighed.

'Oh shit! It's today!' I hurriedly walk to the bathroom connected to my room. 'How could I forget such an important day?!' I think as I spit out the minty toothpaste. Back in my room, I slip on a black tank top and some light grey leggings.

Grabbing my phone and house keys I skipped downstairs. "Morning mom!" I exclaimed. I was pumped for the exam, I had been training for months for today. Now the day was finally here.

"Morning Y/n. Eat up. Your gonna need the strength." She smiled and turned to clean her mess from cooking. After finishing the delicious pancakes, I go to the door and slip on my shoes. "Bye mom!" I shout.

"Bye honey, who show them who's boss!" I chuckled and closed the door. Stepping onto the sidewalk I make my way to UA. 'How should I defeat the robots? My quirk can control them. Maybe I should look for-'

My thought process was cut short by my bumping into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't see you there!" It was a boy around my age with unruly green curly hair. He also had cute little freckles on both his cheeks.

"O-oh, i-its okay!" He stumbled over his words. "I'm Y/n, what's your name?" We start walking again. "Um, I-Izuku, Izuku M-Midoryia." He shyly answered. As we finished our introductions, we entered the school gates.

'This place is huge!" I couldn't help but gawk at the tall building. Midoryia almost fell face first but I caught him. I and Midoryia went our separate ways in the auditorium. I sat next to an ash-blonde boy with red eyes. He looked ready to kill someone but I didn't mind.

When I sat down he looked at me and I looked back at him. We started at each other until he spoke, "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKIN AT EXTRA?!" I rolled my eyes at his tone. 'You were starting too, asshole' "you obviously."

That must have sent him over the edge because he kept yelling things like "SHITTY EXTRA!!" or "YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME?!" Getting fed up with his yelling I say, "dummy" which gets his attention "WHAT DID YOU CALL-" he gets cut off since I activated my quirk.

"Good Pomeranian," I smirk

Bakugo's pov (short):

'Why can't I love my body?!" I shift my eyes to look at her. And what she says next makes me want to kill her. "Good Pomeranian," she smirks.

Y/n's pov:

Shortly after Present Mic explains the entrance exam, we were sent to different mock cities. Unfortunately, I was stuck with the Pomeranian. He was still mad I could tell by the way he looked at me.

As I looked around me I noticed a girl with frog-like features. I also noticed a guy with spiky red hair and a toothy smile. Focusing on the exam now I clear my mind of any distractions.

The doors open and I rush into the mock city. First I go around helping others because that's what heroes do, and then I come across the Pomeranian again and see his quirk is explosions. I smirked and walked toward him, "hey." He glared at me

"What do you wa-" I used my quirk again and flicked my hand so I could control him and his quirk. I took down a whole bunch of robots and then heard a 'times up'.

'Hmm, what to do with you?' Suddenly, I had an idea. Taking a black marker from my bag I write Pomeranian on his forehead.
Thinking I made a masterpiece, I release him from my quirk, "see ya in class Pomeranian." I made my way back home.

It's been a week since the entrance exam. I'm pretty confident that I made it in, I just don't know what class. I went to get the mail from the mailbox and I notice a letter from UA. 'Must be my acceptance letter!' I sprint back in the hose and throw all the other envelopes on the kitchen table.

Making up the stairs and into my room, I sit at my desk with the envelope sitting in front of me. Carefully I open it, 'a disk?'. Scaring the shit out of me a hologram of All Might appears. "Congratulations L/n! You passed with flying colors with a total of 80 rescue points and 76 villain points! Earning a total of 156 points! You will be in class 1-A, and your uniform has been sent with this message."

Then it shuts off. 'Yes! I made it into my dream school! I bet that Pomeranian made it in too.' I think as a large smile crept onto my face. My mom walks in a gives me a big hug and a kiss on my forehead before saying "congrats, I knew you could do it, my little puppeteer." She grins and tells me she's going to make my favorite for dinner, f/f. I nod and she leaves.

'This is it, the next three years of my life. In UA, becoming a hero.' I thought.

A/n: the first chapter is done! I might kill off the mom just for conflict, y'know? I don't know when but I'll figure it out somehow. Let me know what you think.
