I was startled as the sound of the air raid siren awoke me as the sound of anti-aircraft firing filled the night sky. I jumped to my feet and ran over to my comrades and shook them awake "Come on get up! Were being raided!" I yelled as they jumped to their feet and began to get dressed. I ran over to my locker and began to put on my equipment as the sound of a plane came screeching down followed by an explosion. I began to run for the door after zipping up my flight jacket, I was followed by my flight crew as we burst through the door of the barracks to a sky of bright flashes and red streaks of light raced across the sky as enemy bombers flew over dropping their loads. I raced across the tarmac towards the hangar marked H-21, explosion rang out in the night sky as enemy bombers were being shot down by our anti-air. We reached the hangar door and began to open it. Just then I notice that another group of pilots were running towards the fighters parked on the other side of the tarmac. We continued to push on the hangar door until it was completely open then we started to run for the B-25J Mitchell attack bomber sitting in the hangar. I reached the plane and began to open the hatch on the belly of the fuselage and started to climb inside. I was followed by my flight crew as we climbed into our position in the plane. I climbed into cockpit as my copilot was buckeling up, as I started to buckel up I flipped the power button and the whole dashboard lite up. I put on my oxygen mask and reached over and flipped the engine switch and the engined flared to light and begun to spin. I released the parking brake and moved the throttle forward as the plane began to roll out of the hangar. I notice that some fighter's were lined up on the runway and I thought "why aren't they taking off?" Just then a voice came over my headset "waiting on you and your squadron sir" the pilot said. "Copy that heading out" I responded as the plane rolled out onto the runway and stopped. "Tower do I have clearance?" I asked over the headset, " roger th-" the tower exploded as 200 pound bombs collided with the roof of it, I immediately pushed the throttle all the way and the plane began to barrel down the runway. As the plane began to lift off the ground I pulled out a picture of my girlfriend and placed it on the dashboard. I began to pull back on the joystick to gain more altitude. "Tail gunner are the bombers with us?" I asked over the intercom, "copy that they are right on us and the fighters are right behind them" he replied. I notice a squadron of enemy fighters were headed towards us, "this is alpha wolf we have a enemy squadron at 3 O'Clock!" I yelled into the headset. "Copy that!" The top gunner replied as he turned the turrent and opened fire on the enemy squadron. The squadron of enemy fighters scrambled trying to avoid the gunner's fire, but were to late too late as the bullets ripped through the light armor of the Ki-84 Hayate. The planes were sent into a death dive before exploding into a large fireball. We continued towards the main border until I notice a giant shadow heading towards us " this is alpha wolf did command say that we would be up against one of those battleships? I said into the headset. "command said we wouldn't face one!" One of the pilot yelled, just then a bright of light came from the shadow. "Shit move!" I yelled as I rolled the plane away from the squad just as a giant fireball erupted in the middle of the squadron sending half of the squad into a death dive and crashing into the ground. That's when a Nagato class battleship descended from the cloud with a Rising Sun flag on top. "Well command was wrong!" A pilot yelled in anger, "all remaining bombers flee me and the fighters will deal with the airship!" I said. "Copy that leader" they replied as I pulled the joystick back and headed with the fighters towards the battleship. We came under heavy fire when the battleship's 76 mm anti air guns open fired on us. Several of the fighters burst into flames and crashed into the ground but I turned my attention towards the group of bombers and notice that a group of enemy fighters were firing down on the squad. "All remaining fighters retreat and protect the bombers!" I said, "but sir you can't take on a battleship that size!" A pilot yelled. "That's an order pilot and besides who said I would take it head on!" I replied, "good luck sir!" A pilot responded. The fighters veered off and headed towards the bombers, I continued towards the airship but I notice that its 30 mm deck gun turned towards the squad and opened fire sending a 6 inch shell straight for the squadron. The shell exploded sending the planes straight for the earth in a ball of fire, I returned my attention back towards the battleship but I notice a fighter plane above us. I tried to warn my gunners but it was too late as the fighter opened fire sending bullets that ripped through the plane causing me to lose altitude, then I saw blood splatter up on the window and my vision started going black. I quickly turned and saw that my entire crew was dead and that the planes fuel was leaking, I quickly turned and pulled back the joystick just then the back of the plane exploded causing me to blackout.
