Page 1: "Birthday"

Dear Diary,

It was my birthday today, and it was really something special. I'm finally 20! Only one more year until I turn 21. What a day that will be! But I really want to talk about today. When I woke up this morning, it was unusually dead silent. I fixed my hair, which believe it or not, looked like a nightmare. I got dressed and rushed downstairs, but no one was here. I checked all the rooms, too. No Erza, No Evergreen, No Mira-Jane, no Lissana, not even Juvia or Laki! I was frightened. All my roomates are gone! But then I realized that they may yet be at the Guild Hall. So i got my bag and dashed out the door. Once I got to the guild hall, I ran inside. It was dark but then suddenly, something I least expected, happened. Light flared on and everyone yelled "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEVY!" I was so happy, yet so shocked! I didn't think everyone would do this for me! Everybody congratulated me, I thanked them, and we had a good time that day. But sometime in the evening, just a couple hours before I was going to go home, I saw Gajeel for the first time since a day ago. Where had he been, I wondered. He walked up to me with that cute bashful smile on his face, and said "Hey. Happy Birthday, short-stuf." And he handed me the gift. Which was you of course, diary. He told me not to open it up until I got home. We spent some time together, and when the sunset was almost gone, he told me goodbye, patted my head, and went on home. So I hurried back before it got too cold and dark. I was anxious to see what he had gotten for me. So, I just ran to my room without letting anything else get in my way, and opened it. And there was you. And that adorable note he gave me. Now I'm tired, and yawning as I write this. Goodnight, my dear diary. See you tomorrow.
