“Looking for the one tonight, but I can’t see you
cause I’m blinded by all the lights, oh
and I can’t ever get it right, I need a breakthrough
why are you so hard to find”
I was listening to my favourite song again. Earphones in. iPod on. I was walking along the street to get to the train station, I wasn’t in any hurry. Just walking my own pace, looking around the city or just staring at my feet while walking along. When suddenly BAM! Next thing I know I’m lying on the ground, right where I was just staring.
“Ouch…” I moan.
“Oh I’m so sorry!” I hear an American accent.
“Nah, don’t worry about it I’ll be fine.” I say, slowly sitting up.
“Are you hurt?” He says.
“Um… I don’t think so…” I say, checking myself to see if I’m injured at all.
“Well, hi, my name’s Ross. I’m really sorry for bumping you.” He says.
I finally look up into his face, then start freaking out.
“You’re – you’re Ross!!” I shout.
“Ah, yes, I did just say that. What’s your name?” He asks.
“I’m uhh… I’m mm mm mad...” I stutter.
“You’re mad??” He asks, confused.
“Maddie, I’m Maddie!” I finally say.
“Ohhh ok then.” He says laughing. “Would you happen to be a fan of R5?”
“YES!! Yes, I am a huge fan!” I reply.
“Would you like to come to the park later and hear us play? It could be compensation for that accident?” He asks me, putting on the puppy dog eyes.
“Well, I guess I could stop by.” I say, trying not to stare at his adorable face. “I’m just kidding, I would love to see you guys perform!”
“Sweet!! I look forward to seeing you there, 6:15 at the park!” He says grinning, and then runs off.
“I just met Ross Lynch, I just met Ross Lynch!” I say out loud, trying to make myself believe it. I continue walking on my way the station. “And he asked me to come see R5 perform, could this day get any better?”
