Chapter 2

New roommates

Miya's pov:

As I lead them to my house while carrying Paimon, Aether suddenly ask me "hey, Miya can I ask you a question?" "yeah? What is it?" I said as I look at Aether "I've been meaning to ask you something I hope you don't mind" "not at all, feel free to ask anything" i said as we're nearing the villa I live in.

Aether's pov:

As me and my friends are following Miya to her house. I'm really glad she agreed to help us. She's also very nice  and pretty 'wait what?' I felt bood go up to my cheek. 'don't think something like that' I scolded myself. Now that I think about it why was she being kidnapped? Is she someone with high standard? I should ask her."hey, Miya can I ask you a question?" "yeah? what is it?" she ask, okay I hope she don't mind or get offended "I've been meaning to ask you something I hope you don't mind" she responded "not at all, feel free to ask anything" okay thats good. "well I hope you don't get offended, oum.. Why are you getting kidnapped? Do you have anything against them or anything?" I ask getting the attention from the others. "now that Aether said it, I'm also curious as to why are you getting kidnapped" Jean said. "well, I don't know any of them nor have any grudges against them. They probably want to take me hostage in exchange for money, thats what most kidnappers do" she said shrugging like it's normal, thats quite disturbing.'why would she just shrug it off?' "what!? How evil of them! They should get punished" Paimon yelled as she's being carried by Miya, I hope she won't get annoyed by Paimon. "Don't worry they're in jail now, those people are staying there for years!" Kaeya said "did you guys know that the guys that we beat up are actually very wanted criminals, quite famous might I add" Childe followed "they are very weak how are they wanted?" "they are wanted because of their crimes that is selling drugs and kidnapping, they are famous because of them being the cause of the crimes in drugs, a master mind to be exact and the government having no clue on their hideout." Miya explained. "ohh so that's why their famous" Childe said in understanding. "wait wait wait, why do you speak about being kidnapped like it's a normal thing!?" Amber ask. "I mean it already happened to me many times so... Uh yeah it's normal" Miya said. It's normal for her!? Then how many times has she been kidnapped!? We looked at her with concern. "what it's normal for you!? And you're not even concerned about it!?" Paimon express what everyone else is feeling. She replied "well yeah but they always fail though im very good at scaping it's my first time almost getting caught haha, thank goodness you guys are there. " "well from our perspective its really disturbing you know, " Venti said in a matter of fact voice.

Miya stopped walking and turned to us and said "we're here, let's go inside" I turned to look at her place and it was a massive mansion!? " a mansion!? Paimon didn't know you were rich!?" Paimon exclaimed in shock and awe I too is shock so is every one else. "no wonder why your being kidnapped" Venti joked "Venti don't say that!" Jean scolded Venti " woah it's bigger than Dilucs mansion back in Teyvat!" Kaeya said while Diluc glared at him as he crossed his arms and said "I dont care about that" "haha thanks, wait here I'll open up the gate" Miya said while walking over to a pilar with a small devise attached to it with numbers inside. She press some the numbers and the gate opens itself. "well let's go inside I'm sure every one here is tired" she said as we follow her.

I saw alot of different types of flowers, some of it I've never seen it's really pretty "this is quite pleasing to the eye" Zhong li said, we agreed. As we got inside Miya leads us to the living room "please take a seat, make your self comfortable" as we sat "I sure will, nice house by the way" Kaeya said "it's a lovely home" Jean followed "thank you, you guys are probably hungry is there anything you guys want?" Paimon perked up "food!" "yes yes, what do you guys want?" "anythings fine" Diluc said "oh oh, wine please!" Venti shouted. Miya looked at him with concerned eyes "aren't you too young to drink?" she questioned "ehe~ I'm already drinking when your still a-" "fish! Fish!" Klee cut of the bard. "cocogoat.." Qiqi followed. "okay I'll prepare you guys food, feel free to look around" Miya said as she went to the kitchen. And came back"also what's cocogoat?" she questioned and I told her what it is, she said thanks. "finally Paimons going eat! Paimons really hungry!" sigh*

3rd pov:

While they wait for Miya they got bored and decided to look around. Childe look around the living room and found a remote sitting on the table he got curious and started pressing all the buttons earning the attention of a certain God of contract and his adepti. "whar are you doing?" Zhongli asked Childe "pressing the button like how Miya did in the pilar outside" he replied finally pressing the the red button or the switch button turning the TV on making every one flinch, also earning everyone's attention to the said TV. Aether and Diluc recognize it and said that it's not dangerous and that they should not destroy things from Miya. They look at the TV in wonder so they watched and wait until Miya bring the food.

You got out of the kitchen and brought the food in the living room where the others are and saw them watching in the TV even Xioa it really surprised you, Xioa is the most distant with every one so when you saw them all interested in the same thing you thought it was very cute. You made your presece known and gave them their food. Paimon already started to devour her food while the others eat normally. Except for Xioa he's not eating and just staring the the TV they're watching a historical movie. "your not eating Xiao?" you questioned "adepti's don't need to eat mortal food" he said and turned his attention back to the TV. 'What's an adepti? ' you questioned yourself. 'meh, I'll ask some other time'. As they finished eating you also didn't give Venti his wine because it's late and you don't want him to drink.

As your washing the dishes, Amber decided to helped you. You thank her and continued on washing the dishes. Amber started a conversation and you guys talked. You thought she's really nice and adorable. Your happy that you will have some company, your housemate is with their family and you feel quite lonely, so your happy to help them. Once you and Amber finished washing the dishes you called every one in the living room you told them where they will sleep.

You gave everyone their own room, Paimon, Klee and Qiqi are sharing a room because why not. You also gave them spare clothes you have and thank God, you have male outfits for the boys (you have a male cousin) and onesies to the kids it's adorable and wished them good night.

You lay in your bed tired and was about to fall asleep until you heard a knock on your door, you got up and open the door as saw Qiqi. "Qiqi what are you doing here? You should sleep now" "Qiqi cant sleep, can Qiqi sleep with sister Miya?" you swear your just burst "of course come in" you let her in and went up to your bed with a little struggle. You lay down next to her and she nuzzle her self in your side as you chuckle and hug her. 'warm' Qiqi thought at she snuggle deeper and as you two fell asleep.
