Chapter 3

A shocking morning

Miya's pov:

The first thing I do when I woek up is look at the time. I look at my alarm clock, that I didn't turn on luckily so I don't wake up Qiqi, and saw the time it's 4:00 'huh? 4:00 I woke up extra early today even though I'm in a  break' I thought and signed, I can never relax even if I try to. I look at Qiqi sleep peacefully beside me and she was so adorable 'she's so cute!' I carefully got out of bed to not wake her up and successfully walk out of the room. I need to do chores now. 'first is make breakfast, clean the house, check the mail, water the plants, and done I think?'. I thought 'I feel like I'm missing something, meh, I'll remember it eventually'

I got down in the kitchen and take all the necessary things to cook 'whats for breakfast?' I thought as I look at the options. 'bacons, eggs, hot dogs and fried rice, that will do and orange juice. Its decent enough I didn't give them a proper dinner last night so I think this will do the trick' and I started cooking, good thing I know how to cook. When I finished cooking I put each of them in their perspective plate, 'and done, I hope they like it now the juice' I walk to the fridge and took out the orange juice and put it in the cups. 'next one is clean the house' once I finish cleaning the house, I went to check the mail as there's a letter, I took it and put it in the living room 'I'll read it later' 'now water the plants' I went to my garden started to water my plants. Once I'm done I went inside and look at the clock '5:30? They're just very tired Paimon did said they've been in that alley all day' I shrugged and went to make myself coffee I'm not that hungry anyways. I went to the living room with my coffee in hand and saw Xiao awake sitting on the couch. "oh good morning" I said, he grumble but said good morning anyway "morning" he whispered but I heard it anyway. 'he must be shy' "there's food in the dining room, I already cooked for everyone" he replied "like I said I don't need to eat mortal food" I pouted "oh cmon just once? Please?" I pleaded and he grumbled.

Xiao's pov:

Ugh, when will she shut up, she's lucky Morax said to be nice to her, this is annoying. She finally stopped bothering me. "so do you guys have any idea how to get back?" she ask. I think for a second and reply "no not yet" wait why am I talking to her? "do you guys have an enemy to put you here?" she asked again. Now that I think about it, the light that I saw look quite familiar but I can't put my finger on it "I don't know..." I said, she thought for a second "you guys must be strong" 'is she stating that we're weak?' I glared at her "not that kind of way!" she immediately said "what I meant is that, being away from home must be very stressful and not knowing how you got here right?" in a soft voice. She's right I have a duty there and I can't do it because I'm here "yeah.." I responded quietly. "well you guys can ask me anything I'll gladly help!" I guess she's not that bad, she's tolerable. "what food do you like? You must something even one right?" I ponder hesitating to tell her, " tell me so I can make it for you" why would she even do that? " so you can eat of course" she read my mind, I sign, she's really persistent "a-almond tofu" damn it I stuter and I swear my ears are red. She smiled at me as my ears gets redder. "well them when we get to the store I'll buy the ingredients so you can eat" she said "but can you please eat a little breakfast? Just a little?" she pleaded, I grumble but did it anyway, how did she convince me to eat something? 'I'll eat just a little' as I took one of the plates and sat down. I took a bite and its not that bad I guess and continued eating. I look over to her and she was looking at me, why do mortals like to watch someone eat? "why are you looking at me? And your not eating?" I questioned 'why did I add that question?' "oh sorry, so how is it?" "it's good I guess" I replied and she smiled and said "that's good I thought you won't like it, continue eating and I'll do my thing"...

3rd pov:

Aether couldn't believe his eyes as he stare at Xiao. Xiao the silent yaksha is eating something other that almond tofu. He pinched himself in the arm and see if he's dreaming and it hurt so he's not dreaming. He saw you on the couch drinking coffee while holding a letter. He still didn't believe what he saw but smiled anyways you must have convinced him to eat, something  he can never do. "good morning" he finally said after the shock he had. The two of them look at Aether and said "good morning/morning" even Xiao said morning!? Aether couldn't believe it as he look at Xioa in shock again. Xiao grumble "why are you looking at me like that?" "o-oh nothing sorry, just shock that's all, haha" Aether stutter embarrassed, you chuckle and said "don't just stand there, you should eat" "okay" Aether said as he went beside Xiao, happy that he's eating? But happy nonetheless "what are you doing?" Aether ask Miya while chewing his food"oh I got a mail I'm going to read it now, also don't talk with your mouth open" he gulped down the food and said "sorry, what is it about?" he ask vary interested "hhmm? Oh my friend is going home today" "friend?" "yeah she visited her family for a week and is going home today" "oh I thought you live alone?" I ask, 'so she have a friend that lives with her' Aether felt a pang in his heart ' are they together? Wha- no no don't think something like that!!' he scolded himself feeling a little jealous. Xiao look at Aether a little jealous but he could handle. You notice his silence and ask "what's wrong?" "o-oh nothing" pink coated his cheecks as he rubs the back of his neck "haha" Xiao again felt a little jealous that you two are talking so casually but continue eating.

As Xiao and Aether are eating with you reading the letter and drinking coffee Paimon and the others went down and saw you guys. Everyone look at Xiao in shock then look at Aether looking for an answer on why is Xiao eating something thats not almond tofu. Even Morax is surprised. "wait what!? Is Paimon still dreaming or what!? Xiao is eating something that isn't almon tofu!?" Paimon exclaim getting the attention of the three with Aether smiled akwardly at them and said "don't ask me I'm as surprised as you guys earlier" "haha get out of that trance and eat your food also good morning, still tired?" Miya stated. " yeah.." some of them said and walked to the dining table to eat Paimons already there and eating her food.

As the other worldians are eating you told the that your friend is going to come home and explain that she also live here with you everyone understand and continue eating. "oh guys after you guys eat we'll buy you guys your own clothes, can't have you wear the same thing every day." "is it really okay? We don't want to disturb you" Jean asked worriedly "don't worry just enjoy your time here you don't have to worry about anything I'll take responsibility for you guys" you smiled at them "thank you! Miya" Amber thanked "your welcome".

"I'll give you guys something to waer so you can take a shower, I'll be back" you got up from the couch and went upstairs, you tahe the clothes for them and put it in their rooms then went down stairs. All of them are done eating with Jean and Aether washing the dishes, Amber, Dilic, Kaeya and Childe are  watching the TV and Zhongli and Xiao talking about something while also watching TV. You told them that their clothes are ready and told them where the bathroom is. You have two bathrooms. The first one who took a shower is Diluc and Zhongli, next is whoever comes to your mind and waited for them.

You saw the children a bored so you told them to come to you and gave them your toys when you were a kid it's in a storage box in the basement and brought it for them to play. They thank you and started playing with the toys. It's absolutely adorable of them you can't help but squeak at them 'so adorable'

While waiting for the ones who's showering you teach them the basic of this world like the electronics, history and today generation. They ask you some questions and of course you answer them. You also told them how money works so they will know the price of the things they want later on.

Your also thinking of how to explain the situation to your friend. 'I hope she believes them' you sweat drop. 'I hope they'll get along'
