The knife plunged into their chest, the pain was unbearable. [NAME] looked up at the person holding the knife.
"Loki... why..." They cried as they spoke, streams of tears gliding easily down their face as they fell to their knees with a thud, their hands shaking as they grabbed their stomach.
"I'm-" Loki started to cry as well. "I'm so sorry my love, but it had to be done."
"No- no please-" [NAME] was struggling to breath, gasping in as much air as they could while grabbing onto Loki.
He knelt down to their level, cupping their face and resting his forehead against theirs.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." he pulled them close, holding them tightly before their body stopped moving and they laid they're lifelessly in his arms.
He began to sob while holding the body of his lover, rocking them both back and forth as he muttered to himself over and over.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. please, forgive me. please. I'm sorry."
