A group of friends recently joined a scout team, only to later face the infected.
"Who will die first in a zombie apocalypse?" That's the question that started the conversation that led to us writing this book.

The infection is said to spread from the heart, through the entire circulation of blood, within seconds, before reaching the lungs. When it has reached the lungs, it makes it so that the infected now doesn't exhale CO2, but the substance, that we'll call corrupted air, that infected them. Therefore, making the infected able to infect other people as well.
Then, there are two types of infected that have been discovered up until now, the Infected, and the Blinded. The Infected are all almost exactly like the "First Infected", but with the veins obviously growing into different directions. The blinded on the other hand, have the veins growing out of their eyes, making them blind. The way they navigate is by sound.
