First aid

I followed jeongyeon like a baby duck to the car. she opened the door then softly pushed on my shoulders to make me sit in the passenger seat, my legs dangled out of the car. Jeongyeon walked to the back of the car and popped the trunk. i watched her in the mirrors. out of the corner of my eye i saw a cop car pull in and two officers hop out. one older looking officer approached the girls while the other younger officer began to detain the drunken man.

I felt my arm being lifted and turned to see jeongyeon examining me. "Y/n this looks like a pretty bad sprain." she frowned before setting the first aid kit on the floor of the car and kneeling down to open it. She pulled out an elastic bandage. Jeongyeon tried to gently wrap my wrist as I winced in pain from how tight it was. she looked up at me and I could tell she felt bad.

"I'm sorry y/n but it has to be tight to keep the swelling down" i nodded. She leaned over to reach into the box again this time pulling out band-aids and an antibiotic ointment.

She focused on applying the ointment to my scrapes before opening up the first band-aid. "you should be more careful you know. we all rushed out of the reasturaunt before jihyo could even finish explaining the situation. I've never seen Momo leave a plate of food like that or Mina run so fast. You should feel extremely special that tzuyu called the cops for you, she hates talking on the phone for any reason." we both laughed lightly as jeongyeon put the last bandage on my arm.

she slowly reached for my hand before taking it into hers. her thumb running back and forth. "I was, well we were all really worried about you. especially when we could see you on the ground through the glass. it took everything in me not to punch that man. You shouldn't get yourself in these situations. Although I truly do appreciate you sticking up for jihyo." she sighed and she stood up all the while letting my hand fall into my lap.

"just don't worry me like that again. if you feel the need to approach drunk guys and tell them off let me know and I'll go with you." we both laughed.

something caught jeongyeon's eye as I watched her look up "oh I think the cop might be on his way to talk to you." I turned and saw the younger officer coming towards us.

I stood and turned towards him "Ma'am, I'd like to ask you a few questions if you don't mind. I'm officer Choi Hyunsuk, i'll be heading this case." I nodded as I looked to jeongyeon "I'll go talk to the other girls, y/n come over there when you're done." as she turned to leave I grabbed her by the wrist "officer, would it be okay if my friend stays with me while you ask your questions?"

"yes that would be fine, I just want to get your side of the story" I nodded and turned to look at jeongyeon.

"I'd prefer if you'd stay with me." she said okay and took my hand in hers as I answer the officers questions.

"thank you for answering my questions, Ma'am. here's my card please reach out to me at some point tomorrow via text or call so we can go over your report and the charges towards Mr. Kim."

"thank you officer, I'll reach out to you tomorrow." he proceeded to walk away.

I turned to jeongyeon "thanks for staying with me."

"no problem, I like being around you anyways" She laughed while rubbing the back of her neck "let's head back to the girls"

We made our way to the front of the reasturaunt where the rest of the girls were waiting.
