i woke up feeling like all my worries had disappeared, it felt good to finally have a good nights rest but the dorm was unusually quiet..something was definitely up.

"hayoung?"
i met eyes with hayoung who was sat next to the bed, her concerned eyes confusing me. it looked like she had something she needed to tell me but i threw my thoughts to the side and decided to check on her first.

"hello? hayoung? what happened? why are you sitting here?"
"jisun...i was just worried about you haha, that's all! shall we go out today? i think a day outside would uh..do you some good wouldn't it?" hayoung's lips were trembling as she spoke. i didn't know why she was acting so weird or even asking me to go on an outing with her out of the blue. chaeyoung stood at the doorway with clothes from my closet all planned out and ready so i could go somewhere today,,, what did they plan?

"alright fine. but at least let me watch the news so i can see the weather forecast?" i smiled.
"NO DONT. i mean you don't have to watch the news i can just tell you the temperatures for today HAHAH isn't that right chaeng?" hayoung awkwardly spoke. they both shot each-other a look before chaeyoung told me the forecast for today and tomorrow which was suspicious because i wasn't doing anything the next day.

"just dont...watch the news jisun okay?"
was gyuri on the news???? why were they hiding something from me?

nevertheless, i freshened up and got ready to go out to the cat café we visited when we went on a trip a while ago. when i walked out of the room, everyone looked at me weirdly but i didn't care; whatever they were hiding from me they'd tell me later wouldn't they?

"do you remember when we first went here?"

it was a warm evening, the sunset was pretty but not as pretty as the girl standing next to me. im not sure what was more memorable, gyuri's smile on that day or the pink sky that was watching us from afar. take a guess?

"when were your eyes this pretty jisun?"
"since the day you told me you loved me, gyul."

i could hear chaeng and nakko teasing us while romsae smiled as if there was no tomorrow. hand in hand, we walked across the beach and eventually came across a cat, which lead us to the café it stayed in. the interior was comforting and luckily for us it was empty.

"nakko, this one looks like you!"
"lee chaeyoung i swear-"
nagyung's words were cut off by saerom who was laughing as she managed to film the moment between the two, leaving them a blushing mess. i found comfort in a lot of the cats there, they reminded me a lot of seoyeon and how nice it is to have someone who'll always be by your side. i thought gyuri would have no interest in the cats as she was more of a dog person but to my surprise she seemed to be having a good time, making my experience there even better.

"do you think we would be together if we were cats?" gyul asked, showing off her eye smile.
"i'll always choose you over anyone my love."

"yes i do remember, it was so fun."

when we arrived, the owner greeted us and i got to see the same cat from last time; the one gyuri spent the most time with. seoyeon seemed the happiest here, jiwon calling her girlfriend the cutest thing ever which made everyone crack up and eased the tension between us all.

"oh you guys are fromis_9 right?"

a stranger had approached us, his face was covered by a mask making him almost unrecognisable as if we knew him in the first place.

"what are you trying to ask us?"

"do you support jang gyuri after her dating news came out today?"

her what?
is this what they hid from me?
its a joke, isn't it?

the man was escorted out of the café by the staff who worked there, i could only feel my heart drop at that moment. jiheon rushed to my side as i felt my vision go blurry and my heart rate slowing down.

"just tell me, who is she dating."
"i dont know if you'll be okay hearing this."
"just tell me, jiheon."

why did it have to be chuu?
