Jack was tall with a lean build that went well with his attractive face and spikey blonde hair. Today had been the day he had waited for with excitement but the feeling of fear just as strong. His class was making their way down the cobble streets of the central realm. Houses rose up on either side of the line of robed students. They were nearing the center of the realm towards the tower of power where the chamber of selection was located. The front of the line reached the tower entrance. A huge arch loomed over the students as they entered into the massive base room of the tower. He had never been inside the tower and everything captured his attention. A large iron door that had two men whos armor made them appear giant, a spiral stair case fed into the ceiling, and of course men and women dressed in armor and robes of all kind scurried around to take care of their own matters related to the tower. The line of students made their way through the busy room and onto the stair case. Passing other levels filled with astonishing things that would have normally captured jacks attention, but not today, today was his time of selection. The day he left this world behind and discovered himself. Finally after climbing the tower stairs the students reached the top, a donut shaped room with glass walls looking out over the central realm, however the center of this donut wasnt hollow, it held the chamber of selection. Waiting for him was his teacher but also friend Mr.Draker. he was accompanied by central realms peacekeeper who wore white and gray robes and a white veil covered their face, no one knew the peacekeepers appearance, this helped the central realm stay neutral. "Class" Mr.Draker spoke "line up at entrance, it is time to begin" students shuffled eagerly to be first, Jack stuck close to his friend fin. Fin and Jack were towards the back and many minutes passed before we became the front of the line. Then the time came, fin was next. "Goodbye man" he said his shaggy black hair covering his eyes but he could still see his grin "Seeya" Jack said giving him a hug before he walked through the door it closing behind him. Jack was next, his heart raced, he didnt know where he would end up and Jack didnt feel like any of them suited him. Jack stepped in his hands were trembling, the door closed. In the middle of the chamber was a small pool of water and oddly enough it gave off light to the room with a dim glow. Jack approached it slowly and with even less haste Jack knelt down at the edge. He closed his eyed and stretch out his hand into the cool water and waited. He heard nothing, he peeked out of his right eye. nothing. He swished his hand around, still nothing. Then he noticed
Something, the light was fading. The edges of the pool seemed to shrink as the water darkened a thick black color. It wasnt dirt it was almost like ash was filling the water. The blackness consumed the pool and now jack could hardly see. He brought his hand out and inspected looking for some sort of hope he would be selected. Then without warning a arm of just bone shot out of the dark pool and pulled jack in without a sound or splash, he just fell.
