"Care to explain?" Fernando asked. "okay well uh you might want to sit down" I said and Fernando sat on his bed and I sat across from him. "My name is not actually Kendra Loss" I started out," my name is Alexa Marquez" I said. "why did you lie about your name?" Fernando asked. "because if I don't they'll kill me" I said. "Who?" Fernando asked and I told him my whole story.

"Woah" Fernando said once I finished,"you've been through a lot". "All I want is to go back home with Antonio" I said. "what about the women you're staying with, cant she take you back?" Fernando asked. "she won't," I said,"she's just procrastinating because that's her way of getting her daughter back" I said. "I'll help you" Fernando said. "what?" I asked. "I'm going to help you" Fernando said. "why?" I asked. "cause you need the help" Fernando said. "you just met me" I said. "so" Fernando said,"you seem like a chill girl" Fernando said and smirked. "thanks" I said and smiled. "alright what do you need?" Fernando asked. "you're phone" I said. "here you go" Fernando said and handed me the phone.

I dialed the station's number. Two rings later they answered.

"Chicago police department, officer Burgess speaking"

"Burgess it's me Alexa"

"A-Alexa Marquez?"

"Yes"

"Ohmygod! Antonio! It's Alexa!"

//Antonio's POV//

I was checking out a robbery with Ruzek and Atwater when I received a call from Voigt to head back with the information we had gathered.

"Any word from Alexa?" Ruzek asked. "no" I said. "what about from Andrew or Miguel?" Atwater asked. "Last time they were seen was in Michigan" I said. "we'll find her" Ruzek said and patted my back. "I hope so" I said and we drove off.

Once we arrived at the station I was the last one to walk in.

"Ohmygod! Antonio! It's Alexa!" Burgess said and shoved the phone into my hands. I didn't say a word all I did was place the receiver to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked hoping to hear Alexa's voice.

"Antonio?" she asked.

"Alexa, is that really you?"

"Yes"

"Where are you?"

"I'm in Italy, Andrew's sister, Miguel's aunt took me here. Shes pretending to be my mom"

"Has she hurt you? what happened to Andrew and Miguel?"

"They were planning to tell sell me to someone in Colombia, she saved me. But now she's not letting me go. Shes making me act like I'm her deceased daughter"

"Where are you calling me from?"

"A friend let me borrow his phone,"

"We'll trace it and we'll be there as soon as possible"

"Wait, she could try to escape, let me have everything under control and then I'll call you again"

"Alright"

"I have to go, my time is running out. I'll see you soon"

"Alexa, please take care, and I'll see you as soon as possible"

"Bye"

"Bye" I said and hung up. "She's alive" I said and smiled at Burgess," Alexa's alive"
