"Oh..I'll be late for work again.." I sighed. I shouldn't have stopped for a cake pop. I couldn't help it though I do it every morning except this time..There was a long line. How irresponsible was I to still get one even though it would make me late..

"Ganyu, You're late again. I can't cover up for you everytime." Sighed Keqing. "My apologies, Lady Keqing..I'll try to get here on time more often.." I said sadly. "What's your excuse this time?" She asked. "I know it was irresponsible of me..but I stopped for a cake pop like every morning but this time. The cafe was crowded.."

Keqing sighed in disappointment then asked. "What exactly is a cake pop, hmm?" I looked up in shock not knowing Keqing never tried one. " It's like a lollipop, but with cake with icing or chocolate on it." I say. "Sounds interesting. Do people stop often to simply get them?" Keqing asked. "Well I do. Would you mind going out for lunch with me so you could taste one, they're very delicious!" I said excitedly. Hoping for her to say yes.

"Very well Ganyu, I'll join you for lunch to get a taste," Keqing said. "Okay. Shall we get to work now, Lady Keqing? " I said and she nodded.

Soon it was lunch, Me and Keqing headed to the cafe. I could only imagine tasting another cake pop today, usually I'd only buy one a day, and that would be it until the next morning. But today I'll get to taste another with Lady Keqing. I have liked her ever since I started working for her. Unfortunately she had something against the Adepti and Rex lapis a while ago before we battled Osial. If I told her back then Imagine her response to that..

But now She's changed a lot since then. We've become a lot closer than before this makes me happy. "Oh look, the line is short. I hope they have some left.." I said hoping. "So do I. You go on and sit. I'll go fetch the cake pops. You like the strawberry flavor, yes? " Keqing said. " Yes. " I said excitedly. Keqing went up to get the cake pops while I simply gazed up at the sky.

While gazing I said "Keqing..May you rest in peace once you leave this world. Only you have made me feel the feeling of love for the first time In years..It'd be a miracle if I could have you at least for a few years..before you leave. But you for one have spared me the feeling of loneliness I felt for as long as I lived..Thank you.." I closed my eyes.

"Ganyu..?" I heard a voice from behind. It was Keqing. "P-Please tell m-me you didn't hear that.." I said shyly. "Uhh..the part when you said thank you, while staring at the sky?" She asked, confused. I sighed in relief. Thank the archons she didn't hear that. "Oh. Excuse me for talking out loud. Did you receive the cake pops? " I said, trying to change the subject.

"Yes. I already tried mine and It was better than expected! I see why you try to obtain one every morning. " Keqing said. "I'm glad you like them, Lady Keqing. I wouldn't mind you having mine if you're still hungry. " I said. "Hmm? But won't you be hungry later on? I will assist you eat it, you never know when we have to work overtime." Keqing said worried.

"Okay, I'll eat it on the way back," I said.

I tried to get up early for work but ended up being late for work again. This time..when I stopped for my morning cake pop. They were all out. This was just not my morning..I sighed sadly. When I arrived at work I entered Lady Keqing's office.

"Ah..Lady Keqing..My apologies for being late again. " I said sadly. "Don't worry about it, it's fine," She said calmly. Hmm? She wasn't mad at me? "They didn't have any cake pops today.." I said sadly. "Ah. It's okay I ordered some for us earlier, here you are, Ganyu." she said, handing me a cake pop. "Th-Thank you, Lady Keqing.." I said blushing.

"Well honestly. I did hear what you said about me yesterday afternoon. And..I feel the same way for you too." Keqing admitted. "Y-You do? " My heart started to beat very fast as Lady Keqing Cupped my Cheek and kissed me lightly on the lips. I blushed and started to kiss her back. "Did that answer your question, Ganyu?" She said while handing me another cake pop to eat.

"Y-Yes it did. " I said, relaxing my head on her shoulder while eating a cake pop. We spent all our morning's since then going to the cafe to enjoy a simple cake pop.
