I'm running through the woods as rain starts pouring down. Where is he? I get scared screaming for him. "Preston! Preston this isn't funny anymore! I want to go home."

Out of no where I'm attacked. My heart is racing as I'm on the ground. I look to see who it was and while I'm looking, Preston kisses me. I push him off me. "What's wrong with you?"

He helps me up, "Oh c'mon babe, I was just trying to have a little fun."

I give him a stare "Take me home. My parents are probably already worried sick. You know they don't like it when I don't come home till late."

He grabs my hand and huffs, "Alright, alright. I'm sorry. Let's go."

We walk to his truck. I keep looking up at him. I know that he means well and not to get me in trouble, and honestly I can't stay mad at him with his perfectly blonde hair and green eyes. He's so strong and tall. His smile makes me feel like I'm important to him. 2 years and he still puts up with my moodiness.

The rain starts getting heavier and we start running to his truck. We get in and he turns the heat on. He starts laughing a little while looking at me. "What?"

He smirks looking at my chest, "Not a good day to wear a white dress. Like your bra by the way."

I gasp and smack his arm, then covering my chest. "Shut up."
I start laughing too.

He laughs then kisses me. "I'm sorry babe."

I smile."Just shut up and take me home."

He drives me home then walks me to the front door. He holds me close then gives me a kiss goodbye. I walk in my house to see my mom sitting on the couch. She doesn't look too happy. She stands up, "Why was you gone so long? Me and you're father have been worried sick about you. It's 9, I said to be home at 8. You should've called."

I take a breathe, "Mom, Preston was hiding in the woods and I tried to find him then I said that we had to go home. I didn't know how late it was because my phone was in his truck, also his phone was in his truck. And it's Saturday."

"It being Saturday is not an excuse Charlie. We have church tomorrow. Was you late because you was having sex with him?"

I laugh out of the stupidity of the question, "Mom, you know I'm saving myself for marriage. Even if I did have sex with him what's the big deal? He's a good guy. You and dad like him. We've been together for two years, almost three, he treats me like a princess."

"The big deal is that you could get pregnant. And yes he is a very nice man and I hope that one day you two do have children but not now. I'm sorry for worrying so much, I'm just afraid of losing you."

I walk over to her, "You don't have to worry about losing me." I hug her.

She hugs me back then let's go, "For goodness sake girl, go change into dry clothes."

We both laugh a little as I go up stairs. I change into a t-shirt and shorts. I sit on my bed looking out my window while brushing the messy wet tangles out of my hair. The storm gets worse each minute. I see a moving truck across the street. Why is someone moving in this late? From what I can see there's a boy that looks about my age. All I can see is that he's tall and has black hair. There's a woman who I'm assuming is his mother. She has long dark red hair. The boy looks at me. I jump and close my curtain. My dad walks in my room, "Hey sweetheart"

"Hi dad. Look mom already got on me about coming in late and.."

He cuts me off "I know, I know. You're mother told me. Did you see the neighbors?"

"Yeah. Why on earth are they moving in late? They vampires or something?"

He chuckles, "No they aren't vampires. Vampires aren't real. Gosh I thought the twilight phase was over. Anyway I have no idea why they are moving in so late but I met the father and he seems real nice, a little strange from his appearance, but nice. He has a boy about you're age, he said that the move has been real tough on him so I think tomorrow you should introduce yourself to him and be his friend. It's a new high school and he's going to need someone to show him around."

Why do I have to make friends with this kid? I don't like meeting new people. "Yeah I guess that's alright."

He smiles, "Alright. I'm inviting them over after church tomorrow."

"Ok. Well I think I'm going to go to bed early. I'm exhausted from running."

"Alright. Goodnight, I love you"

"Love you too dad."

He leaves my room. I get up to shut my door and turn off my light. I lay in bed and I find myself looking out at the window again. The boy is just sitting at the curb staring at the ground. He looks at me again and I find no reason to look away. We stare at each other. He gets up then starts walking towards my house. I open up my window and sneak out. Walking slowly to him. The rain continues to pour as my feet get covered in wet grass and rocks. We meet in the middle of the street. He's
beautiful. Long black hair, surprising red eyes, strong bone structure with a hint of facial hair. He reaches his hand out. I touch his hand and I'm filled with horror. I feel myself drifting away.
