Third Person's P. O. V
Rue was reluctant to leave Ellina alone in the hospital to wait for the arrival of her aunt, but Jules insistence and repetitive called make her yield yet again.
Rue went to the location that she asked her to, it take a little long to reach being located in the secluded area, outside of the town .
The cab dropped her off on the road unable to proceed any longer. Rue asked him to picked her up and hour and a half later, and he drive off. Looking at the bicycle lying on the ground she pausd and put it more carefully , she went to the place that they often gone to in the past .
The ground was wet, and the air was fresh and clean. She wonder if Ellina would love it here? She touched the tress using that like a support to walked, she felt the dampness of the moss from the rain and the bark that was also in the same conditions . She looked at her hand on a second thought she might not be a fan of it .
She familiarly walked through the forest with no path on it, after walking for awhile she saw her on a cliff with her back turn to her.
, “ You're here? ” her voice was low , she pat the log of wood she was sitting on and Rue joined her. Her eyes we're a little dull, losing the usual glint in them.
Rue waits for her to speak, Jules just sit there and gaze into the distance not saying a word. The forest was quiet, only the occasional chirping of the birds and the sounds of the insect filled the air.
, “ You remember how we would go here once every month and just sit here looking at the sunset? ” Jules smile a little bit nostalgic, there was a hint of longing in her eyes.
, “ Time do really passed fast . ” she felt like it was only yesterday that they were here laughing together.
Rue was slightly tense anticipating what she might asked next, but unexpectedly Jules only talked about the past which confused her. But, nonetheless she fondly recalled it with her.
On the way back Jules was really energetic and so lively that she thought she had seen wrong when she first come.
But, her familiarity with Jules make her knows that is not the case .
The taxi had already arrived at the said place, Jules fondle with her palm talking about this and that on the way back. The driver dropped them off at the local museum which Jules asked him to.
The day was spent doing the things that they used to do, and visiting the place they used to, “ I didn't expect the day to end so soon. ” Jules lay her head on Rue shoulder and commented sadly watching the sun sets and the gold tinted sky. They stay like that until the sun sets and the sky was pitch black with the only source of light from the street light next to them.
Jules closed her eyes and yawned tiredly.
,“ Do you find it tiring? ” the out of the blue question after the long extended silence take Rue aback, she thought that she had fallen asleep.
,“ Tired of what? ”
, “ Living. ” Jules stand up and pulled her up, walking towards the subway, walking down the stairs.
, “ Yeah. ” it's tiring but worthy.
, “ Then , have you thought about what I asked you? ” Rue paused then slowly nodded.
, “ Ever thought about starting over? ”
Who won't? Who would not like to right the wrong . She wants to start over maybe then she won't try to escape reality by taking all those substance and destroying her life , she wants to start over to become someone more good, someone more deserving of her, maybe then she would not be such a coward who dare not show her how she felt.
