The Mission

I hear my phone start to ring, I reach over to check who the call is from. Boss? He usually only calls when it's serious, otherwise he just e-mails me... I answer the phone nervously hoping i'm not in trouble.

|Y/N| "Yes boss?" I asked carefully.

|Boss| "Thank god you answered, come to my office ASAP It's important." He spoke with a worried voice.

I hurried to the office and when I got there, boss looked serious. I just know something's wrong.

|Boss| "People are going missing rapidly and i'm almost certain this has something to do with the mafia. I am officially assigning you to your very first mission."

Oh. My. Gosh. My very first mission is handling the MAFIA?!

|Boss| "Listen Y/N I know this is sudden but I trust you more than any other agent here. I'm trusting you." He said honestly.

|Y/N| "I won't let you down, boss." I said faking my confidence.

|Boss| "Good, you will be leaving tonight." He said calmly.

I gave him a nod and left. When i got back to my desk i sighed and put my hands over my face.

"I can't do this i seriously can't do this." I mumbled.

Just then I felt a hand on my shoulder, It was my co-worker Soobin.

|Soobin| "Hey, I heard about your mission and based on what i just saw, i can assume you're pretty nervous." He said with a gentle voice."

|Y/N| "I'm not ready yet. and i'm definitely not ready to handle the mafia." You managed to say in between deep breathes.

|Soobin| "You ARE ready. I know you are. you just need to have some confidence." He said as he gave me a warm hug.

I smiled at him as he walked away and left to the gym to get ready just in case anything happens to me.

AN HOUR LATER

I put on my belt holding a pistol, taser, and other weapons. i also grabbed some first aid stuff in case any victims are injured. I waved goodbye to Soobin and my other co-workers and left for the location I was given.

When I arrived all I saw was... trees.

"Are you sure this is the right address? All I see is trees." I spoke through the microphone.

"Maybe it's behind the trees? this has to be the right address. Boss never gets an address wrong." My co-worker reassured me.

Some time later, i looked through another set of trees that were significantly larger than the others. Sure enough behind the trees was a Mansion that was practically a castle.

"This is Y/N, I found the house." I spoke into my earpiece.

|Soobin| "Good, now head in but watch for any guards, traps or cameras. Be careful Y/N..."

|Y/N| "Will do, the place seems empty."

I carefully made my way inside of the mansion and looked around cautiously until I stumbled upon a trap door. I pressed my ear against the ground and heard quiet sobs. I took my pistol out not knowing what to expect. When I came down there I saw all of the missing people. Some safe and some... well not too well.

|Y/N| "I found the missing people I might need backup getting them out of here." I whispered.

"Hey, hey, you're gonna be okay i'm gonna get you out of here." I said in a gentle tone trying to comfort the sobbing woman.

"I just need you to tell me what happened." I said.

|???| "They..." She said.

|???|"You need to run..." She looked horrified.

|Y/N| "What?" I asked.

She tried to warn me one more time but was interrupted by an ear splitting gun shot. I look at the woman to see her lifeless on the floor.

I held up my pistol and pointed it at the man who killed the innocent women.

|Y/N| "Drop your weapon or I WILL shoot."

|???| "Oh will you princess? Why not go try on some dresses or spend daddy's money?" he said trying to piss me off.

|Y/N| "Fuck off dickhead. Unlike you, I don't have to commit crimes for a living."

|???| "Someone's feisty." He teased.

Someone grabbed me from behind and placed a cloth over my mouth. Then, everything went black.

Hi guys! I hope you like this series so far and i'm gonna start working on the next chapter right away. im sorry if i made any grammar mistakes It's just that i've been writing all day and im so tired. i tried to check for any mistakes and i fixed most of them. This chapter isn't as interesting but i can assure you the other ones will be. i have it all planned out now i just have to write it.
