Chapter 1

"SAMMY GET UP YOUR GOING TO BE LATE!!!" I wake up to my mother screaming from downstairs,yup she's that loud.
"IM UP!!" I said sitting up on my bed and walking towards my restroom.My name is Sammy Huggins,but everyone calls me Sam,now when I'm in trouble then that's when my parents call me by my full name,Sammy.I have a younger brother,James Huggins,he's a freshman and two words,he's annoying.I'm a junior,going to be a senior soon,going to finish school but then college ugh.I hate it that your whole life you work work work,but its worth it though.I really don't like school/like school,so I pretty much have some days I do and some days I don't.I have light straight caramel colored hair,I have hazel eyes,which I got from my dad.My birthday is in summer,July 11,right now I'm 17 years old.Today is the last day of school which means SUMMER,but I'm going to be spending mines at my aunties and cousin's in London,like always.I literally go every summer there,my parents say they don't want me to be just stuck in my room on social media all summer long, they want me to "explore a bit".
I finish everything I needed to do in the restroom which was to wash my face,brush my teeth,put makeup,and do my hair,which just ended up a ponytail.I go back to my room and pick out some clothes,I ended up putting on some regular blue skinny jeans and a black crew neck shirt.After I put on my black converse I went downstairs.
"Good morning mom." I said grabbing a peanut butter sandwich. 
"Would you like me to take you to school today or are you walking."
"Umm,I will walk today actually." I said,eating half way of my sandwich.I wanted to walk because it wakes me up a bit more and I get to hear music on the way,also my school isonly like 15 minutes away.
"Ok be safe honey." she said kissing my forehead.
"Bye mom!" I finish my sandwich,grab my bag,and head out the door.I plug in my hearphones,put it on shuffle , and the song "Just Saying" by 5sos came on.
------------skipping to school------------
When I get to school,I usually go to my locker first to get my books and stuff,but since today was the last day of school we(as in students)already turned them in to the library.So now I don't know what to do,which means I will be walking around like an idiot waiting for the bell to ring for first period,unless I see my friends which I'm hoping I do.
"Hi sam!!" oh look what a coincidence it was my friend Sophie,she was that type a friend that you tell her everything.You could say she was a very trusted friend,she has light brown eyes,black hair that's naturally curly,and she doesn't give no fucks what people think about her.
"Heyyy aren't you excited for summer."
"Duhh who isn't." she says in a sassy tone.
"So what are you doing this summer?"
"I might go to Las Vegas because I have some family over there,what are you doing?"
"I'm going to London like always" I say. 
"I really wanted to spend the summer with our squad!" she says trying to make a sad puppy face.The rest of the "squad" which was Natalie,Jennifer, and Jasmine, they left before we got out of school cause they were all going out of the country.
"I know me to,but hey we still have other summers." I say,as the bell rings as in to get to first period,I had social studies and Sophie had language arts.
"Well I'll see you in lunch." she says as she starts walking away.
"Ok see you." and we both go to our own direction.Our squad as in all of us had only the two last periods together which was P.E and art.
--------------skipping to lunch-------------
When I got out of 4th period,it was finally lunch. I went to go get lunch which was pizza,who doesn't love pizza!?After I got my lunch I looked around to the table,our squad will always sit down for lunch,I saw Sophie already sitting down eating her pizza. 
"Heyy!" I say as I sit down across from her.
"Hello." she says with half her mouth full of pizza.
"Ewww don't talk with your mouth full its nasty." I make a face that looked like I was disgusted by it.
"Oh shut up,like you haven't done that before!" she says as she takes a sip of her Gatorade.
"I haven't because I have manners." I say as I take a bite of my pizza. My parents teached me right from wrong, especially my dad, he is way to overprotective ,but that's how dads are right?
We continued eating until we finished our food,our squad would just walk around the school when we were finished eating,but since its just sophie and I we decided to just stay seated down.For the rest of the lunch which was like 20 minutes left,we signed year books saying like "Have a good summer!" or "Hope I see you next year!" etc.
When the bell rang for 5th period Sophie  and I went to our class which was P.E. and later on to 6th period which was art.
-----------------After School-----------------
Right when the clock hit 3:00 p.m. everyone just threw papers and screamed(not really)and people started saying,well all I could hear was "AHHHAA" or "WOAHH" it was getting annoying .All I wanted to do right now was to get the hell out of this prison. Sophie and I walk together since we go to the same direction but we live in different streets,which sucks.We started walking to our homes and I asked her
"So when are you leaving to Las Vegas?"
"Maybe on Saturday,when are you leaving to London?"
"Tomorrow morning,and when I say morning I mean like early morning like at 5 am." I say sounding a bit exhausted by even thinking about it. 
"Oh my gosh have you finished packing?"
"Yeah some stuff I still need more though." We come to where we go to our own direction.
"Well this is it,I don't see you until we come back."Sophie says making a sad face.
"But we could skype!" I say
"Oh right I forgot about that,well I'm going to miss you so much Sam" she pulls me in a hug and I hug back.
"Awww I'll miss you to." we pull off from the hug and say our goodbyes and take care,pretty much everything you say when you won't be seeing one of your best friends in person.
My house was just 2 minutes from where I was standing right now,so I plug in my headphones to hear music and I started to speed walk because I still needed to pack some stuff.
Once I got home I yelled "IM HOME!!!"
"Hello honey how was school?" my mom asks as she comes down the stairs.
"It was ok." I say.
"Ok there's some chicken and some rice in the microwave if your hungry and also you need to pack your stuff for tomorrow."
"Ok thanks mom." I go upstairs and right away I start packing because I wasn't hungry at the moment.
After 30 minutes I had 2/3 of my stuff,which involved my clothes,shoes,makeup,etc.,packed in one big suitcase.I just needed to put some more clothes in a small suitcase,but I stopped because I was getting hungry.So I went downstairs and saw James sitting on the sofa.
"What dumb shit!" he said,like I said he's annoying.
"Oh shut up!" I went to the microwave and warmed up the chicken and rice.Once that was done I put it in a plate and added a bit of chili to it and finally started eating.
When I finished I put my plate in the dishwasher and went back upstairs by now it was 8:05 pm,I finished packing by 9:30.
"Honey are you done packing?" my mom asks as she comes in my room.
"Yup." I say and I see my dad peeking out of the back of my mom. 
"Hi dad."
"Hi princess so are you excited for London?" he says,my dad still treats like if I'm a child but I don't mind,like I mean that's how they act when your growing up right.
"Yeah sure,I am going to see my aunt and cousin,I'm excited for that." My aunt and her "husband" got divorced from some problem that I really don't know of,but she got a lot of money from when she went to court.So I'll be living with her and my cousin,Ana.She is 17 just like me but her birthday is on May 17.
"Well get some rest already,you have to wake up early tomorrow." my mom says as she closes my bedroom door.
I sighed of tiredness and I changed into my pajamas,went to bed, and fell asleep.
