Chapter 7

Going out

Miya's pov:

It's been a day since the shopping spree and we were just chilling in the living room. Aether and the others are getting to know their phones while Paimon, Klee and Qiqi are watching cartoons in the tablet I gave them. I was laying on the couch with my head on top of Jeans lap on my phone, and the others are sitting in the other couch or the floor.

As I was scrolling trough my phone clearly bored there's nothing to do and I already finished my chores with the help of the others. "I'm bored" Mara said "hey Miya let's go out and do something I'm so bored" I look at her and thought about it, getting up and said "sure it's not a bad idea, I'm pretty bored myself, anyone want to come?" as I looked at the others who were listening and agreed "ohh were are we going?" Kaeya ask leaning forward "hmm.. I don't know any suggestions?" I ask not sure where to go "oh oh let's go explore! I want to see the other places here!" Amber said "you're right! How did I not think about it! You guys will like it here" Mara hundred percent agreed to Amber, " we already like here" Jean said "I'm glad" I said.

"I know, let's have a picnic to the park!" I suddenly said outloud startling every one. "great idea, it's a good starting place" Jean said "we're going to have a picnic!? Klee want to come!"Klee said excitedly "everyone is going " I told her " I'll arrange the things we need for the picnic" I said getting up "I'll help!" Jean, Aether and Amber said at the same time, making them look at each other. " Paimon will also help!" "the only help you'll do is eat the food, it's not even helping" Aether said. "hey! Miya! Look Aether is being mean to me again!" she told me. "it's okay Paimon you can help us" I said, pointing her tounge on Aether ticking him off. "is there anything you guys want to bring in the picnic?" I ask "wine!" Venti said. "you didn't gave me last time" he said with puppy eyes. His face is block by a hand which is Dilucs hand "seriously even here your asking wine?" "it's fine, only two bottles of wine only" he cheered and went to hug me "thank you, you don't know how much I miss wine!" I hugged back and pat his head leaning on it. "hey! Let go of her you tone-deaf-bard!" Paimon shout pulling out his hair he hugged me tighter pulling out his tounge at Paimon making her pull harder. "that's enough you two, Aether, Jean and Amber are already at the kitchen. Let's go Paimon" I separated them from each other while getting off of Venti's embrace. "and you guys get ready we'll be leaving in no time" I told them and they followed.

Me and Paimon went to the kitchen and saw Jean, Amber and Aether getting the ingredients ready. "okay let's make the most delicious food in the world" Paimon said. We have Lemonade, Brownies, Watermelon, Pasta Salad and Fried Chicken. We put it in a picnic basket, two picnic baskets actually, the food wouldn't fit in one and I also add milk and wine, for Venti and Qiqi.

"looks like everyone is finished getting ready, we should too" Jean said and we got ready.

As went to the garage some of them are debating on who will go with me in the car the children are going with me of course. While they're fighting on who will go with Mara, Mara went to me "we should buy a van so they wouldn't have to fight over on who's car they will go" she said while sweat dropping "yeah I your right" I said. "still be vigilant while driving" "I know sorry, I won't do it again if I have passengers" she raises her right hand beside her head. I sigh and nodded at her.

I called the children to get inside the car and saw Xiao and Zhongli are already seated in the car with Zhongli in the front seat next to the driver's seat. I quirk and eyes brow at them and they shrug their shoulder before saying "they're loud, I hope you don't mind". I sigh again for the hundredth time this week. "not at all" I said and help the children get in the seat at the back.

"hey! Zhongli and Xiao are already inside!" Venti shouted pointing at them, then immediately went inside,the others grumble and went into Mara's car. I turned on the car and drove to the park.

When we got there, there weren't alot of people so that's great. We got of and went to the grass field and set down our basket. I told the children to play in the playground while we set everything up. They happily went to the playground and looked at the swings, slides, sisaw and more. They liked it so that's good and also Mara safely drove here and no accidents happen.

As we finished setting up the picnic, the others went th who knows where and relax themselves. I guard the picnic with Diluc and Xiao, they don't want to go anywhere, we talked for a bit and I got hungry. I called the others here so we could eat. Once they got here we ate the food while happily chatting with each other and told stories of our own.

"I once insult my teacher because she gave me and my classmates assignments thankfully my teacher didn't hear what I said" Mara told one of her stories when we were in high school. "what!? You insult your own teacher!?" Paimon looked at Mars in bewildered which made us laugh. "yeah if she did she will get detention and made her write a apology letter." I explained snickering "why would you insult your teacher because they gave you assignments?" Diluc ask "you don't know how stressful it is for me in high school!" Mara defended herself while putting the back of her hand in her forehead dramatically. I rolled my eyes and said "you never liked assignments" she laugh.

"Did you know there’s a toilet museum?" I choked at her words "Mara were eating" I said "why would they make a museum like that?" Aether had a concerned face for Mara "In New Delhi, the Sulabh International Museum Of Toilets features a rare collection that details the historic evolution of toilets from 2500 BC all the way up to the present day." she continued "why did you even search that?" I asked her the others looking at her with faces I can't read. Mara turned to me "how about you, said some thing that I don't know of" "do you know you can sue someone if they're annoying you" I said while looking at her making her look away while whistling innocently. "if that exists in Teyvat Kawya will be long in jail" Diluc said with Kaeya looking at him with a hurt expression " but Diluc I never annoyed you have I?" "you always annoyed me with your presence" Diluc spat, Kaeya put both his hand in his chest before dramatically said "Im hurt, look Miya he's being mean to me" making his way to me and hugging me from behind. He received a few nasty glares right at him making the atmosphere tense, but I didn't notice. "please let go of her Kaeya" Zhongli said "don't talk like you didn't hug her when we were at the mall Zhongli" Kaeya said with a smirk, I looked at him wide eyed flustered 'he saw it!?' Zhongli tense a little while looking away also flustered "wait you made a move on her already!?" Childe shout at Zhongli "I was only helping her get out of the situation she was in" he defend with me nodding frantically. The others looked at us with faces I can't explain (it's jealousy) Mara smirked "you finally getting boys sisy" she teased me I glared at her to shut up, she raised her hand in surrender while snickering. With the others still glaring at each other.

We finished eating and cleaned the picnic. Then we went home. The tension no longer there. We all had fun it's a relaxing day. I enjoyed it. Though my break almost over and I'll get back to my work later on, I hope they wouldn't mind.
